he didn't think working on an album was supposed to be this much of a headache . it wasn't before , at least . then again , the last time they were working on it , he was able to have more control than he did now — it was his band , after all , & he was able to control a lot of the sound coming out of it . it's still his band , he reminds himself sternly . it was still his band , even if now they were working with sharpay , who wasn't one to listen like the others were . he leans against the wall , shoulder pressing against it as he eyes her on the other side of the room , brows lifting up as his lips curl into something close to a smile , even if it wasn't exactly a happy one . “ you know , most my ideas have worked well on the bands last album . lot of the songs too . i don't know if you have to come and make all these changes . ” / @sharpaymichelle

she enjoyed music. the passion that was needed for art and loved seeing the joy it brought to the world. unfortunately, the work that it took with one specific person made her question if it was worth it. troy was possessive, controlling and never one to ease up. ironic for someone with little brain cell comprehension. he frustrated her to no ends, the two lash out at any given moment. troy bolton was insufferable. yet, there was no denying his music making talent. not many people in the world had their ability. so - here they were : forced to work as one. lets see who would rip their hair out first. " they were adorable, truly. i'm sure your band loved singing only love and girly pop songs about your wife. " arms cross over her body, " your current songs are shit. they're nursery rhymes basically. "

“ i'm not — i'm not afraid of — you don't even know what you're — ” there's offense written all over his tone , words coming out more like a sputter . ( @sharpaymichelle ) question caught him off guard , his usually calm , easy going demeanor , one that's almost practiced at times , falling momentarily . eyes blink after a moment as he sucks in a breath through his teeth , almost trying to relax himself in the moment before the mask slips off his face any further . “ blondie . i don't think i can let you in more if i tried , ” he says , changing course as he offers her a cool smile , approaching at her as his arms go out , hands resting on her arms as he rubs them gently , up & down , as if trying to soothe her , whatever doubt she has in her head . “ i promise . i don't think it's possible. ”

" for someone who isn't afraid, you're sure getting upset by it. " to say their relationship wasn't complicated would be an understatement. it was interesting to see how they've grown together and apart. who they were when they started compared to who they were now are completely opposite - at least, she'd like to believe so. sometimes though, sharpay finds herself back at square one where this is just some game for the public. that this isn't real. it's like the blonde is trapped in this mindset that they'll never be able to escape. it wasn't fair but call it trust issues. " it just seems like you are hiding something. " trying to relax under his touch, lips pursing together, " i hate feeling like there's this space between us. "
