Miami Postcard
“sometimes you need to repot yourself in a better environment so you can finally grow. just like a plant outgrows its pot, your soul craves a space where it can stretch and thrive. breathing new air, shedding old habits, trusting the changes, finding the right room to bloom.”
— billy chapata
So who's watched the live action? I personally enjoyed it, despite what the meme may imply

Richard Gilmore is by no means a perfect man, but my God does he love the women in his life immensely. Lorelai, Emily and Rory are his world even if he doesn't communicate that in the best way every time. In season 2 when Lorelai is helping him set up the Gilmore Group? He's so excited by Lorelai and her willingness to help him set up. He's awed by how much she knows and you can see him realizing that he doesn't really give his daughter credit as much as he should. And he's gutted when he realizes Lorelai can't stay to continue to help him. Their relationship is bumpy for a monumental amount of reasons, not the least of which being that Richard Gilmore is a man of his time. But he realizes his mistakes and he fixes them when he can. He tries so hard to not repeat his blunders with Lorelei with Rory. He's a GOOD MAN.
