hello i just found your blog and i love your loa au!!!! i was wondering whats going on w john and jade (and by proxy jane and jake) in the au?

I'm not exactly sure what I want to do career wise for Jade, I'm pretty sure I want her to be some kind of agent or executive, she has to be in Hollywood.... Or at least a little bit financially well off because all the alpha kids go to a fancy private school together lol. Currently she has no involvement with the career going ons of the other beta kids/guardians but she is raising Jake, who she adopted when she was about 27 because she was lonely. Jake was 6 and never knew his parents or family, he sees Jade as his mom.

She was also still raised by her grandpa who died when she was 16, she spent the last couple years of highschool living with John (who is her half brother) and his dad before going to college. She was never close to him and doesn't really visit outside of holidays. She and John are still kind of close, in a way.

John is a comedian and he doesn't take care of Jane, their dad does! He recently got a job both writing for and hosting a late night show so he's pretty busy and not around her that much anymore but when she was younger he was coming and going all the time.

Which also means Dirk was around all the time, because John and Dave were "roommates" in their 20s before having a "falling out" and going their separate ways... Since Jane is being raised by her dad and not John she got to keep seeing Dirk, so it all worked out for her and it doesn't matter!!!

Anyways Jane, Dirk, and Roxy have all been friends basically ever since they were babies which you didn't really ask about specifically but it's what she's up to, having friends and such. They also aren't Crockers and there's no batterwitch, John pays for Jane to go to private school because she really really wants to go to school with all of her friends. She was homeschooled up until highschool

the desaturation mighttt be because of the color profile settings on your procreate? i had a similar issue where sending art to my phone or laptop made it really desaturated, and switching to the sRGB something-2.1 really helped

not highschools I know prom and homecoming are real obviously but the idea of having middle schoolers ask each other out to a dance seems weird to me like something that only happens on TV but America is Weird so I don't doubt it's real

I also don't want to look stupid if it's not real
