what are your professional opinions on the FNAF movie not being like the lore FNAF fans have trained to memorize for years

(haven't seen the second one yet, no spoil here please) tbh even headcanons aside, if you expected the movies to stick perfectly to the canon, you're being silly. i like an accurate movie adaptation as much as the next person, but only when the story is good, coherent and provides enough matter to make a movie out of it. i don't mind the "different story based on the original material" type of movie adaptations either, and it was probably the right choice for fnaf.
