🤍 hi everyone, my name is layla and this is my wrestling/multifandom blog! i've been into wrestling about two years come this july! i love new gen era, ruthless aggression era, and the pg era (as bad as people say it is i enjoy it because i grew up watching that era). my favorite wrestlers are shawn michaels, bret hart, cm punk, john cena, roman reigns, seth rollins, becky lynch, charlotte flair, alexa bliss, naomi, bianca belair, liv morgan, nikki bella/bella twins, aj lee, trish stratus, lita, victoria, and a whole lot more i can name!

synopsis: shawn is scouting out talent and a young bret hart catches his eye in the performance center. he's willing to keep him a secret because the heartbreak kid doesn't 💋 & tell.

it's later on in the day and some of the talent has gone home to rest. bret was still in the ring working on running the ropes when shawn watches him from afar. his stare lingers for too long and he snaps out of it. "how's it going out here in the ring?" he asks to bret. bret looks startled but yet happy to see shawn, "i think it's going okay, i just feel like there's more of something that i could be doing. could you show me something?" shawn comes over to bret to show him an abdominal stretch so he's going to be very close. he tells bret to really sell it like and that's when shawn's hand grazes bret's waist. he says to himself "did he mean to do that? it didn't bother me but maybe he meant it..." shawn calls out to the younger man "are you still with me?" he lets out a light chuckle and trying to reposition bret's body. as he was close to him he whispered into his ear "you smell so good to me". the two soon lock eyes with one another and just taking that moment to observe each other. even in shawn michaels' old age he's still as beautiful as he was once when he was young. his aging face still handsome the young man thinks to himself. at that moment, shawn bring a hand up to bret's face and caresses it. a slight smile appears across his face and he feels the awkwardness of it all and says, "i-uh better go. it's getting late. i know we have an early morning here in the performance center so it's best i go." a melancholic expression overcomes shawn's face and sort of break in his voice, "d-do you have to go? could i drive you home to your hotel? i have to leave out anyway!" bret is thinking, "i hate to make you go out of your way for me. my hotel is about a 45 minute drive from here," "don't worry. i'd do anything for you...". shawn grabs his things happily and has bret follow him to his car. he had to speak to text to put the instructions in and with bret in the passenger seat, a long ride ahead of them he felt this is the perfect moment to get to know him better. with the light music from the radio and clear night sky it was so perfect. he clears his throat, "so bret. tell me about yourself and why you want to be a wrestler. i know with stu being your father but why do you want to be a wrestler?" he gives himself to ponder the question "well..." he trails off, "i guess it's so much i want to be wrestler because of my dad. he's one of the greats and very well decorated" he continues. "i do it to make him proud. i want to be as great as he is, i want to be the best there is. best there was, maybe even best there ever will be...". his answer was very centered around his dad which is understandable but shawn learning that he wants to be the best is something he likes but scares him. he remembers being young and wanting to be the best just like bret. he smiles thinking about what a heyday he had. "that's an answer wow. you have any siblings that want to get into the business? or it's just you?" he's quiet before he answers, "just me now. i had brothers who trained with me but just changed their minds and focused on school and things in our family". shawn nods his head in understanding. "why did you tell me i smelled good to you?" bret blurted out. shawn was caught off guard, "i- uh was in the moment and you just remind me of someone i knew once when i was young...." he continues, "m' sorry if i made you comfortable there son, it's just something about you that's so special. to be honest with you, i couldn't stop thinking about you after you left my office. you unknowingly calling me sir made me flustered". bret's face was a bright red blush knowing that the touches from shawn were on purpose, he was flirting. they both knew what they were doing and sat in silence with just 10 minutes left to the hotel. when they finally arrived he said to the older man, "thanks for the ride.... and the talk, goodnight". he catches shawn off guard and gives him a soft kiss on his now blonde short beard. "anytime uh- goodnight". he closes the car door and shawn happily sighs to himself.
