TE and Faisal definitely both got a weird sense of humor as after they cleaned up Saladin’s tomb following their entrance into Damascus on October 1st, 1918, they took down the wreath that Kaiser Wilhelm II put on Saladin’s tomb in 1898 and TE brought it back to England and presented it to the Imperial War Museum, because “Saladin no longer required it” and “Faisal who in 1916 in Yenbo said that we must clean up the tomb as soon as we got to Damascus replied that he would give it (the Kaiser wreath) to me when we arrived.”
According to graphology a person's handwriting can give clues about their emotional state. Looking at Ned's writing being all over the place, that means he was emotionally unstable. I can't remember which website I visited so this one will have to do:
