the fact that there seemed to be no seats in the bar only mildly annoyed nate. what was annoying him were the groups of girls that would make eye contact with each other and start screaming. why was that necessary? he flinched at the sound of another group finding each other and caught sight of an empty seat. he was nearly at the table before he realized the other end of the table was occupied, but he found the occupant already speaking to him before he had the chance to change his mind.
“already have,” he replied, lifting his drink in example. with the single-drink limit the bar had, he couldn’t get another even if he wanted to. “and you’re good. tell him to fuck off.” he shrugged. maybe not sound advice, but it’d get the point across. he took the newly emptied bar stool and set his drink down. “or better, i can tell him for you,” he suggested. nate was bored, and when he got bored he got destructive. all it took was someone willing to destroy along side him, whether that be through a fight or other reckless choices. “who is he?” he asked, his gaze browsing the bar.
shay had just came into the bar to take a load off, relax from working six days straight at a bar where the people drove him up a fucking wall. though here he was, at the bar he worked at, unable to escape even on his day off . so he sat there drinking his free drinks that becky kept feeding him until he would hope to soon forget his shitty day and take some stranger home for the night at least. though that never worked out in his favor, they always ended up showing up at the bar to drink again and making things weird
moving over he let the boy sit as he watched him lift his drink. “ah yeah, well i have told him to fuck off twice already and yet he still comes.” he explained. he shrugged and shook his head. “no need for that, friend. it seems as though the man was you and not him this time thankfully” he looked at the boy’s cup, “care for another?” he asked raising his own to the bartender.”
