Hey I’m Jay and this is a selective multi-muse blog for all sorts of fandoms and crossovers. Weekends are my usual active times but I try my best to check in at least once most days. The important highlights are below:

I’m open to both heavy and general plotting before writing through IMs or discord upon request. The difference between my main and secondary muses is I can more easily throw my mains into things without as much discussion, but I am happy to use any of them.

"Hey, maybe I'll get the next one," Shiloh shrugs with a playful grin. Truly she was desperately hoping nobody else would be so brutishly trying to get her attention tonight. "You know what? Your offer sounds even better actually. I'll take you up on that drink." While her intentions were to spend some quiet time alone, she had to admit Blair's company was far more welcomed than the clueless dude she had just interfered with. "I mean if anybody can handle it I think it's you," she teases forgetting how nice it was to have somebody to shamelessly flirt with. Shiloh raises her glass to the other's, "To the universe and healthy fake relationships," she laughs.

Blair clinked her glass with Shiloh's and grinned over the edge as she took a sip. "I'm glad you already understand one of my top tier life skills is handling being with people I'm basically obligated with flirt with." The back and forth was light and easy, just how Blair enjoyed it. "I'll also have you know I would have been committed to the fake relationship bit. Had we needed to kiss to seal the deal..." she trailed off and smirked. Blair was turned to fully face Shiloh at this point, not caring about anything else that was happening at the bar. "So dare I ask if this is one of those had a long weeks so you need to drink or looking for some fun night at the bar?" Blair liked the place because the vibes were good and the drinks weren't too expensive but all and all it wasn't a place people flocked to. Maybe because idiot dudes seemed to hang around.

TJ doesn't dare pull away as Liz reaches for her hand. If anything the familiarity of it all was comforting. Even if TJ wasn't able to be completely honest with the other when they were together, just being around her brought a sense of comfort no matter what she had faced earlier in the night. She was greedy when it came to her. "No, I'm done for the night.," she assures as she rummages through her locker for a makeshift first aid kit. "This should have the basics," she says, eyes focusing in on Liz's. "I know the circumstances aren't... ideal, but it's good to see you."

It's not great, but the kit is something. "Don't think you're going to get away with no x-ray after this okay?" It was a momentary deflection from when their eyes met and Liz felt all the complicated parts of their breakup. She was gentle with TJ's hand in hers, tender as she straightened out her ex's fingers and started wrapping it. "I'll admit seeing you get hit wasn't high on my list of ways to reunite with you again, but it's good to see you too." Liz sighed, eyes still full of emotion she was doing a terrible job of containing. "Can I ask why?" She wasn't sure was allowed to ask but she wanted to know especially when her worry that TJ was being hurt by someone was just replaced with a new one altogether.

"I feel ridiculous." Finley muttered. It was rare that anyone managed to wrangle her into a dress, yet Blair had managed to succeed at that endeavour. She was wearing lipstick and everything. It was quite the transformation.

"Well I appreciate your willingness so I didn't have to go this silly event alone. And giving me something great to look at all night," Blair smirked and slipped her arm through Finely's. It was some teacher appreciation event banquet deal and there was a certain expectation to look good so the rich philanthropist people she had to mingle with would keep giving to the school. "If the food ends up sucking, we can try and sneak out early. I promise to make it up to you later either way," she leaned in close and said in a low conspiratorial tone. Blair also would have preferred some type a suit to the dress she was in but she made it work. They looked good together at least.

Sorry to all the people I've left hanging for weeks on replies, it's been a really busy work month but I'm gonna do my best to get to everything today. If we plotted at all and I owe you something like a starter please remind me because my brain is mush.

moving from the uk to america had been one thing, her life not different than she was used to as she continued to work as a doctor. it was only when olivia lost her career and she was forced to move around, unable to find a city and a home that she so proudly said she didn't need, that things began to crumble. that was until she found her foot in roswell. it sounded like a joke if she thought too hard on it. being a paramedic in a small town in new mexico had never been her dream, maybe not even her end destination, but it was a place that had become home. her mother used to say "people make the home" and liv was finally understanding what she meant all along.

"you never leave, do you?" she asked as she entered crashdown cafe, still dressed in her uniform after a long shift. they had the best milkshakes and churro pancakes. "i could've swear you were back there at the closing shift last night." she sat at the counter, a small smile greeting her friend.

there were certainly drawbacks to being back in roswell, the feeling of being stuck was one of them, but then there were small moments like this. getting to know a regular with an accent endearingly out of place to the point where liz couldn't help but grin any time the other came in. her dad put in long hours and everything he had into making the diner a success so that he could provide for his family a life he wanted for them. the least liz could do was handle shifts and give him a break from time to time. and while it had been almost a decade, waiting tables at the crashdown would always be second nature.

"i'll let you in on a little secret," liz said, leaning closer to olivia over the counter as she slid her a menu. she smirked like it was some type of real secret. "when your dad is letting you crash in your old childhood bedroom above the diner, you do indeed, never leave."

Liz Ortecho Verses

Canon Roswell - Main canon based Liz verse set any time seasons 1-3 where she has come back to Roswell and knows about aliens. Can also be set in the “time jump” where she lives and works in LA. Open for crossovers.

Modern AU - No aliens, Liz is a biomedical researcher. Can have returned to her hometown of Roswell or be based in any city where she works. Retains most of canon background elements (daughter of immigrants, addict mother, something traumatic with her sister). Good for general verses with any muse.

Modern AU 2 - Liz is biomedical researcher for an organization that she does not know is involved in shady things (or has just found out). Good for law enforcement type muses, maybe Liz has come to your muse for help or your muse is undercover.

Historical AU - Verse set in the past where Liz is a waitress for her parents diner. Loves science and learning but doesn’t have the opportunity to go to college for it.

Supernatural AU - Similar to her canon verse but instead of Aliens whatever the supernatural element needs to be. Liz probably will have been working to understand the “science” behind it. Good for any muses with supernatural elements.

Liz Ortecho general/slice of life verse Fact Sheet

Has her PhD/MD but is more focused on medical research than practicing medicine. But she for sure is all over any partner that is not taking care of themselves when they are sick. Don't make her pull out her medical bag and stethoscope.

Grew up working in her dad's diner as a waitress in high school

Mom who had substance abuse issues left their family when she was young and so Liz still is working through her abdonment issues

Is very close with her father

Has commitment issues, including completely ghosting her fiance, but still somehow manages to remain close with all of her exes (exes plot anyone?)

Her father is undocumented and Liz is working to get him a green card

Her sister died in a car accident when Liz was in high school

Most likely lives in some big city doing cutting edge medical research and/or clinical trials in hospitals (so throw me your medical muses)

Liz very much wants to save the world with the work and research she does and has aspirations of winning a nobel prize, meaning she's something of a workaholic.

TJ was fighting all her instincts not to give Liz one final push away. They had already broken up, TJ's own web of lies and half truths were the main reason for that. Maybe the full truth would be the final crack needed to fracture this entirely. To keep Liz safe from the chaos that TJ often sought out. Instead something fluttered inside her chest at the mere thought that her ex had cared this much. The hand that TJ was fairly sure was broken went completely ignored as she tried to figure out how to answer Liz's questions in a way that would be satisfying. "I know you were that's why things needed to end between us," she says through furrowed brows. "I saw how scared you were getting... but I couldn't exactly tell you everything. Now knowing you'd look at me as worried as you are right now."

Liz wanted to be mad and lash out a little but truthfully it wasn't TJ she was angry with. The people running this fighting ring though should have been glad she wasn't in a place to give them a piece of her mind. So instead she deflated as the confusing parts of the end of their relationship slotted into place finally. "Looks like we're past that point now and you're going to have to deal with my worried face," Liz huffed shaking her head and then reaching for TJ's battered hand with tenderness. "Please tell me you don't go back out there tonight." Her big brown eyes were pleading as she looked up at TJ. "Or that one of these lockers has first aid so I can bandage you up." She might not have been a practicing medical doctor but she knew what do in a situation like this. It probably was a good excuse if someone walked up and asked what was going on too.

Cody may not have been book smart, but 'whatever kind of smart she was' allowed her to excel at being an FBI agent. A job she aspired from out of high school, merely because she thought it would make her the super cool aunt. She never expected to love the job and be as good at it as she was. The job was the very reason she managed to help both herself and little sister survive when the old world ended. It was a long journey to manage to find the community they did, and an even longer one to have it grow to what it was now. Nothing huge by any means, but it was certainly solid.

Most of the time, she spent training others - whether it be how to shoot a gun or to fight. She loved going outside the walls, as she rather enjoyed the thrill of it, but limited the trips out there for her sister. The same reason she stopped doing undercover work, really; to be close in case she was needed. That didn't mean she never left, though.

The former FBI agent was trying to teach 'a bunch of idiots' how to fight, though she only thought most of them were idiots, because it didn't feel like they were taking it as seriously as they should be. She decided to call it a day, and headed out, only to be pleasantly surprised with the individual on the floor.

"You're lucky you're hot, because you look like shit." She teased with a laugh, positioning herself on the floor beside Blair and mirroring her position. "Glad you weren't used as a Scooby snack, though." The woman teased, playfully nudging their shoulders together. As she studied Blair further, a slightly more serious look fell over her features.

"How'd it go?" Blair being here with her and not somewhere washing the new world away, made Cody think something happened out there that maybe didn't go according to plan. It wasn't like they were soulmates, but they had become instant friends when they had met. It was followed by benefits, since being hot and lonely in the apocalypse felt like a crime. Taking comfort in one another wasn't something new, be it sexual or otherwise. If something had gone sideways, it wouldn't surprise Cody if Blair sought her out before anything else.

Only Cody could make her smile and let out a little laugh in the world like this. "Both lucky I'm hot," Blair quipped back with a shake of her head. She took off the gray baseball cap she always wore, faded and dirty, and ran one hand through her hair. They weren't exactly great at talking; they were good at other things like fighting (Cody), running (Blair), and kissing and sex (together). But everything needed an outlet in a world like this and sometimes it was as easy as pressing her lips to Cody's and others it was talking it through.

"Things went sideways," Blair realized one hand was trembling and so she tightened it in a first. "We'd gotten in to the old warehouse, bagged up supplies and ended up swarmed. Fuck." She pressed her thumb and finger to either eye and took a breath to compose herself. "Everyone made it back," she was quick to add. "Which is all you can hope for. It was just..." Blair pressed her lips together and shook her head finally chancing a look over at Cody. "Almost wasn't like that. I ran back in for Tanya and we lost almost half of the bags we packed up." She'd do it again if she had to. No supplies were worth lives in Blair's estimation, but it didn't help her feel any less on the edge in the aftermath of not getting everything they needed. "We'll have to try again soon."

Went to college at UNC and played softball, third base specifically

Typically lives in North Carolina (Wilmington), a couple hours from where she grew up (unless verse has her living elsewhere for your muse)

Played softball, soccer, and pole vault in high school and tended to get into trouble

Gets up early most mornings to go for a run, a run or the gym is also her go to coping mechanism when she's upset

Loves the beach and will use any excuse to go

Has basic kitchen competence, but is good at grilling out

Is almost always in a baseball cap, often backwards

Go to hair style is short with hair that she's always brushing out of her eyes (hence hats) but if she's lazy getting it cut she'll pull it back when it gets longer

Is very publicly queer even to her students which can sometimes create tension with conservative parents

Typically only dates people older (even a good bit older) or a couple years younger than her - would never date a (ex)student but would date a parent

Maria couldn't take her eyes off Blair as they lay there, the sun peering through the curtains as she watched the other sleeping. These little moments were her favourite, the ones where they could just exist with one another and not have anything else to think about. When she saw the other's eyes opening up, it caused her to smile softly and she brushed some loose locks of brown hair aside from her girlfriend's eyes.

"Good morning."

Blair stretched and breathed in loudly through her mouth as she woke up, her girlfriend right there smiling at her. "Mmm, morning," she hummed, reflexively returning the smile. How could she not when waking beside her beautiful girlfriend. "All that moving yesterday I think wore me out," Blair said voice a little deeper from sleep. "Or maybe I have no idea what time it is here in Texas." She didn't bother looking to the bedside clock because it didn't matter. Right then she just wanted to be close to Maria. Curling one hand around her and tugging her in close half on top of Blair's body she asked, "You sleep okay?" Absently she ran her fingers up and down the side of Maria's arm.

Nights off like this were such a rarity for Shiloh she resented anybody who tried to steal any of that precious time from her. All she wanted was to enjoy a night where she didn't need to wear scrubs and have a drink or two at her favorite bar. Then enter some dude who cannot take a hint, or apparently read the room considering nothing about her screamed 'desires the attention of men.' She's about to really let him have it, when she feels another presence, they make eye contact, and after the briefest moment of confusion she's filled with relief at the stranger's presence. Shiloh's hand comes to wrap behind her shoulder tor really sell it.

"The assist was greatly appreciated. Even if I am kind of bummed I didn't get to do the fun part of taking him down a few pegs and making his face get all scrunched up and mad," they tease. "No, but seriously thank you. I'm Shiloh," she says, sipping from her own rum and coke. "I hope you didn't have plans 'cause now it looks like you're stuck with me, and this is still my first drink."

"That's fair. I'll admit I really enjoyed getting to cause the face. Truly something money can't buy, but I could buy you your next drink to make up for?" Blair suggested with a lopsided smile. If she couldn't flirt with her fake girlfriend of a minute and half who could she. "I guess i can battle through having such attractive company," she teased, then gestured to her own beer and gave Shiloh a pleased smile. "First one too. The universe wanted this to be our night. Or something." Blair didn't actually believe in fate and all that, but she did enjoy when things fell together.

"Yes I was following you," Liz said, a little indignant. "And I wouldn't have had to if you had just been honest with me." She wasn't exactly sure what was going on here but she'd seen just enough guess fights were happening. "Is this how you got your bruises? You remember I went to med school right, I could tell it wasn't those excuses you gave. I thought someone was hurting you." Even though that no longer looked to be the case, the concern still showed all over Liz's face. They might have been exes but she still cared deeply for TJ. "I was worried."

Blair was exhausted, finally back from what had been meant to be a quick supply run that had turned into a fight with their small team on the run. They’d lost some of what they had gathered, but they all made it out alive, which is what mattered. Blair hardly remembered the deep gash over her bicep until someone asked about the bloodied rag tied there. She’d been taken to one of the medical floors for someone to give her stitches and when she asked about the one person she always seemed to find herself around these days, she was told they were busy. Sounded right.

Blair should have gone back to her bunk and gotten some sleep. Hell, some semblance of washing up might have been smart too. Instead she found herself leaning against the wall outside of where she could hear the other working, eventually sliding down until she sat, forearms resting on her bent knees. She listened to the familiar voice, muffled from Blair’s spot in the hall, but comforting all the same. It wasn’t until she noticed the sound had stopped that she looked up to see them. “Hey,” Blair couldn’t help the smile that stretched over her face, tired as she was. “I uh...” Now that she thought of it she didn’t have an explanation for what she was doing waiting in the hall on the ground. “I’m back. They told me you were doing your thing.”

I'm feeling like I need apocalypse threads for my OC Blair (doesn't have to be zombie/twd specifically but definitely like dangerous end of the world, gotta go out and fight vibes). So like this and I'll come to you to plot? Can be shippy or platonic. Maybe our muses knew each other before or met during the chaos. Whatever we feel.
