I know he's not the most popular tenipuri character but hear me out. He's just an emo baby. 🖤🖤 Little loner. He has one very loyal friend. He puts all his time and energy into tennis. Byou's image is rebellious and controversial with in their culture. Bleached hair. Facial hair! He presents himself like the world. But he's just a traditional japanese man who like practicing calligraphy and green tea to relax. He was once a bright eyed brat, but was soon put in his place by the unjust world around him. He know the universe isn't fair and no matter how good you are or how talented or kind, it doesn't matter. He's learned a tough lesson and bears the scars. He's trying to prepare his teammates for the worst because there are far greater challenges out there. He is not there to be their friend. He's a living metaphor. The world comes at you unannounced and unfair. His anger is the only way he can justifies it, is to pass on a lesson the hard way. He saved a girl's life and got punished for it twice. Once his body was damaged and he continues on to play in the finals. He didn't say anything about it , because he knows excuses don't matter. He's like a much older, big brother. Mean but with all the best intentions. Little emo baby who doesn't know how to express his feelings, isolated and with a secret heart of gold. And a rare smile worth millions ❤❤.
