I honestly like. Can't believe that Epic is over. I know that Jorge has big plans for the future that I'm really looking forward to but the whole musical is complete and there's always going to be a bit of sadness about that even if Epic as a concept is still pretty much just getting started in terms of what's expected down the road. I just gotta say I always love when someone makes something and you can tell they really, really cared about it and loved what they were bringing to life and Epic is definitely one of those things, especially with the last two sagas; a lot of love went into Epic.

i've seen some people not liking that odysseus gets to beat poseidon the way he does and i'm not saying that isn't a completely valid opinion to have, but i will point out that in the actual odyssey, the only reason why odysseus gets to live and make it home is because he's fated to and even the gods have to obey fate. poseidon can put odysseus through as much hell as he'd like, but ultimately he will make it home alive and poseidon can't change that. and i know epic isnt a perfect retelling of the odyssey, i'm just saying the source material isn't exactly based in logic and answering all the questions either- "things happened this way because fate says so and thats that"

again, perfectly valid opinion to have, but also greek mythology as a whole is just Like That
