Might actually be back this time. My PC’s been broken and I only recently got a steam deck to do stuff on. Since my last post I’ve become a big fan of Junji Ito’s work, I’ve poured I don’t know how many hours into World of Horror, and I’ve really gotten into The Binding of Isaac.

Been getting more into the Shin Megami Tensei series, I wanted to play Digital Devil Saga but it keeps crashing on PCSX2... but when it did work it's a very fun game. I like the music, character designs, art style, and unique plot.

I've been getting into the PS2 Harry Potter games and I have to say I've really been enjoying them. I never grew up with them yet there's something very nostalgic about them. Between the relaxing music, pretty simple to grasp gameplay, story that just about everyone and their mother has heard a few thousand times, they're pretty enjoyable. Harry Potter has always been a comfort series for me, whether it be the first three movies (not a huge fan of anything past Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire depending on how I feel that day and I never have been, really), the soundtrack to said movies, or the multitude of video games it's always held a special place in my heart.

That being said I don't condone the words and actions of J.K. Rowling, or any transphobic being (human, multiform, or otherwise), we are human too.

Today I learned there is a page on the Tardis wiki about penises, and so have you. There’s also one about penis gourds.

Fourteen probably calls Fifteen in the TARDIS all the time.

"Do you know what I'm doing? GARDENING!"

"You're what?!"

"GARDENING! It's marvelous!"

And then Fifteen just hears Donna in the background - "It'd be more marvelous if you just pulled the weeds instead of talking to all of them about how 'it's not their fault, they are what they are'...!"

"You said lots of people talk to plants!"

"Plants, not weeds, dummy...!"

And then Fifteen will just be listening to them bicker for a few minutes because it's hilarious

I watched The Rebel Flesh and The Almost People last night with a friend and honestly, these were probably some of my favorite episodes in Series 6! The story was excellent, the interactions between the humans and gangers was interesting and grounded, I think. I also really liked the dynamic with The Doctor and John Smith (doppelganger doctor), even if they made Amy unusually mean, it's still very enjoyable. I give it a 9/10 and highly recommend watching it. (It also made me cry a little at certain points.)

Happy Holidays! I’ve yet to see The Church on Ruby Road, I’ve not seen anything about the episode specifically so I’d be going in with fresh eyes, as it were. I’m excited to though, I can’t wait to properly seen Gatwa in action and I’ve heard it’s pretty good. On a slight side note I hope I don’t see people whining about how “woke” Doctor Who has gotten just because they added a black man as the doctor.

The Giggle blew me out of the water, I enjoyed it far more than Star Beast and Wild Blue Yonder, I loved all 3 but I really, really loved the return of The Celestial Toymaker.

The whole thing with bi-generation was nice, allowing us to have our cake and eat it too, as much as I am a believer that each doctor has their time and it’s less impactful having them out “past their expiration date” I really loved it.

I also loved the inclusion of Spice Up Your Life, it’s a very menacing yet positive song in my eyes.

Watched The Star Beast last week and loved it, it’s got its problems, like the weirdness with Donna’s daughter and the metacrisis transferring and also the weird jab at The Doctor being male presenting. But I still enjoyed it, everything from the new Tardis to the music, to the new opening. The new sonic is really cool as well. Excited to watch Wild Blue Yonder when I get the chance.

We're so close to the release of the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary specials and I'm so excited to see them when they release and even more excited to see fans both new and old become interested in the series again now that Russell T Davies and Murray Gold are returning.

If I didn't know better, I'd say this is a Doctor Who renaissance.

It's been a big week for Dead by Daylight fans, not only did we get the return of the much-beloved Stranger Things license with Hawkins Laboratory, Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler, and Demogorgon. But we also got a trailer for Chucky from the horror classic Child's Play, I can only feverishly anticipate what else they could be adding in the future.

October is over and November has started, might as well get the Yuletide train running early since there’s snow on the ground. Might pick up the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy when it inevitably goes on sale for Cyber Monday or Christmas.

What games do you guys like to play around this time of year?

Started playing Generation Zero with a friend a couple days ago and I'm really liking it, it's a sort of robot apocalypse survival game with a pretty open world set in Sweden, which isn't a setting you see everyday, except for Minecraft, we all know that Minecraft takes place in Sweden.

It's a bit buggy at times, there are times when I get caught in geometry that I should be able to get out of and sometimes my friend sees hunters that aren't actually there, but it's a fun game. There are also a lot of tense moments in the game, like when we got caught by a patrol of tanks, harvesters, and military dogs, and the commotion eventually caused our "rival" (a giant-ass robot that can demolish us with very little energy) so we had to hide out in a church until they passed.

But yeah, 8/10 game, it's on sale for 5USD on steam right now so I highly recommend picking it up.

Just finished Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere and I gotta say, I really enjoyed it. I went down the UPEO/Neucom missions route and took down Ouroboros, severely hampered Neucom and General Resource, and killed the guy in charge of UPEO twice. The graphics are great for the ps1 and I like the plane designs, they're [mostly] grounded yet slightly futuristic, my favorites are the Su-43 Berkut and the R-211 Orcinus.
