ABBA // Don't Shut Me Down
Sebastian Stan & Lily James Variety Uncovered
If I ever get under Vecna's curse, I'm telling everyone to play ABBA for me. Because no matter what mood I'm in, ABBA always gets me to sing and dance no matter what.

âAwesome. Let me find a vase and a card for you to fill out.â She disappeared behind the counter for a second and came back with the flowers arranged in a nice bouquet, a soft blue ribbon wrapped around the neck. âHere we go!â She said. âWhat do you think?!â
âĄ
It was really past time Lilo did something nice for Nani after everything sheâd done for them. Her eyes lit up when she saw the finished arrangement. âI love it! Sheâs gonna love it! The blue really ties it together, thank you.â Pulling her backpack off her shoulders, she started fishing around for the bills at the bottom. âHow much do I owe you?â
âOf course, sweetheart.â She sat them aside and leaned over the counter in contemplation. âTell you whatâŠ. Just this once, I wonât charge you money. But you have to come back and tell me if you were able to find what you needed. Iâm invested now and I need to know how it goes.â

Aurora pulled her sweater around her as she turned, gently pulling a bright, full bouquet of the happy little flowers. âWhat lucky timing!â Ro smiled âthey just came in so theyâre nice and fresh.â She set them on the counter for her to look at, ruffling a hand through her wild hair as she waited.

Allison returned her enthusiasm, walking towards the shops counter. âOh, thank you so much. I think these should brighten up my place quite nicely.â Pulling out her wallet from her purse she met the blondes gaze. âHow much for these?â She asked, not sure if she should use her card or left over cash she had in her wallet. âYou have a lovely shop here, Iâve always wanted to stop by and I wish I had came in sooner.â
Ro smiled as she prepared the flowers for Allison, tucking them away nicely before passing them to her. âThese will be twenty.â She grinned. âWeâll thank you. Itâs my pride and joy if Iâm being honest. I always wanted to own a flower shop and itâs just nice to be here among them all.â
sheisrosesandsunflowers·:Â
âHonestly, sheâs amazing but Peter Parker is my favorite,â she told him with a hint of amusement in her voice. âAn average boy with extraordinary circumstances put upon him.â She paused. âPerhaps⊠if the keys arenât invisible⊠we can hit the lock button twice and the lights will flash?â
âĄ
âGosh, if I had to pick a favoriteâŠâ Fred just trailed off. He wouldnât even know where to start. âRight, the lights would still have to work so you could see to drive at night.â This woman had the right idea. âYou know what? Youâre a genius. Iâm Fred, and youâre a genius.â
She laughed in surprise. âWeâll goodness!â She clapped her hands in pure joy at his compliment. âI can honestly say Iâve never heard that before in my whole life. Iâll take it though.â She laughed âMy nameâs aurora, by the way.â She offered her hand to shake.
sheisrosesandsunflowers·:Â
Her smile made Roâs smile grow as she quickly jotted her friendâs address down for her. âAs for flowersâŠ. Hm. Might I suggest daisies or chrysanthemums? Beautiful, chipper little flowers at an affordable price.â
âĄ
Lilo thanked her again, folding the paper and slipping it in her pocket. That would be her next stop today. âYouâre the expert,â she nodded. âIf you say theyâre chipper, I believe you.â
âAwesome. Let me find a vase and a card for you to fill out.â She disappeared behind the counter for a second and came back with the flowers arranged in a nice bouquet, a soft blue ribbon wrapped around the neck. âHere we go!â She said. âWhat do you think?!â

At his words aurora almost melted at her spot at the counter. Most of her customers were men trying to make up a mistake they had made to their wife. It was hardly ever something so sweet anymore which was, quite honestly sad. She bounced on her toes, barely able to keep herself calm. âOh, that is so sweet! I would be more than happy to help you pick something out for her!â She tugged a catalogue from beneath a pair of pruning shears and flipped it open to a bunch of yellow and pink sunflowers. âThese are my favorite. So bright and wonderful without breaking the bank. Plus, itâs very hard not to have a smile on your face when you look at them.â

HERCULES smiled gratefully as he let himself relax a little in the presence of the sales assistant, he had always thought of coming in and admiring the wonderfully arranged bouquets of flowers but he always chickened out at the last minute. He was happy now he had an excuse to come and explore. âThank you very muchâ I would usually only buy for my Mother but sheâs in Europe and I donât think flowers would survive the trip.â he explained with a faint and awkward chuckle. Hercules scanned the page taken away by how perfectly the colors complimented each other, he had a feeling Mrs.Odie would love them. âThey are beautiful, they really do put a smile on your face.â he grinned. âDo they come with ribbon? Oooh and a card?â
She laughed, delighted with his reaction. âNo. I usually recommend calling a local flower shop for orders like that.â She moved to go look at a case and glanced up at him, her accented voice soft and a bit concerned. âEurope. My youâre far from home!â She didnât press for answers but if he needed to talk she would certainly listen. It was one thing she was incredibly good at, after all. âThey do! And Iâll throw in a nice vase too. Which do you like best?â She set two on the counter so he could pick. âIâm sorry I donât have any glass ones. But the plastic serves a purposeâŠ. Let me make a note to write out an order while Iâm thinking on it.â She quickly jotted down a note and smiled up at him, awaiting his answer.
sheisrosesandsunflowers·:Â
Aurora grinned at her reaction and smiled widely to show that she was just teasing the girl. She paused and cocked her head to the side and âhmmedâ softly. âIâll be honest with you⊠I thought you did that with crystals.â She wiggles her nose as she flicked through the large book on her tabletop. âLet me give you the address for a friend of mine. Sheâs better versed in things like that. Then if I have anything you need I would be more than happy to share what I have with you. How does that sound?â
âĄ
So this wasnât a dead end! Lilo was excited she was onto something, maybe. She had some crystals at home, but they were supposedly healing and reduced anxiety. And truth be told, she didnât know much about them at all. âThat would be great,â she smiled, âthank you. Iâll also get some flowers too while Iâm here, for my sister. What do you have thatâs cheap but pretty?â
Her smile made Roâs smile grow as she quickly jotted her friendâs address down for her. âAs for flowersâŠ. Hm. Might I suggest daisies or chrysanthemums? Beautiful, chipper little flowers at an affordable price.â

Aurora watched as the girl walked in and looked around. She leaned over the counter and listened as the girl requested mugwort. To say she wasnât a bit shocked at the girlâs request would definitely be a lie. Still, she decided to help her even if it was to point her in the other direction. She pulled a rather large book of flowers from under the counter and began to flip through it. âLet me see,â she said in a softly accented voice. âI donât sell it here but I see that mugwort is commonly used to boost energy and calm nerves. If youâre looking for that I might have some herbal tea that could serve the same purposeâŠ.â She trailed off and arched a brow. âUnless youâre trying to poison someone.â
âĄ
âOf course not.â Liloâs eyes widened slightly. There were a few people sheâd like to throat punch, but poison was too far. Even for her. Besides â if she was going to poison someone, she wouldnât blow her own cover by buying said poison from the town she lived in. âThe tea sounds nice, but not quite what Iâm looking for. Do you have anything else for astral projection?â
Aurora grinned at her reaction and smiled widely to show that she was just teasing the girl. Aurora hadnât meant to get caught up in the young manâs incredible flight of fancy. She was supposed to be in town buying ingredients for soup for her and her mother when she stopped to listen to him talk. When he stopped to catch his breath she giggled and pushed her hair from her face. âIt sounds like you and Wonder Woman could be great friends⊠although it might be hard to remember where you parked an invisible carâŠ.â
âĄ
âIâd love to be friends with Wonder Woman, thatâd be wicked.â A goofy grin broke across Fredâs expression. It would be his dream to hang out with superheroes. Heâd read enough of comics to feel like he had. âOh, youâre right. Shit. Weâd have to figure out a way to combat that. Maybe⊠a really loud clicker? Or⊠a transparent option, one that only turns on with a switch so people donât ram into your parked car either.â
âHonestly, sheâs amazing but Peter Parker is my favorite,â she told him with a hint of amusement in her voice. âAn average boy with extraordinary circumstances put upon him.â She paused. âPerhaps⊠if the keys arenât invisible⊠we can hit the lock button twice and the lights will flash?â
Aurora hummed as she worked with the fake flowers in the window of the small flower and gift shop. She hated working with fake flowers but her window displays required something a bit more long lasting than the stems she kept in the freezers around the space. She tucked stems and worked to make the bouquets full, knowing she had to sell her work to anyone who might walk by before they even came into Buds. She heard the bell jingled merrily and she stood up. âHello hello!â She chirruped. âHow can I help you today?â
Allison had been meaning to stop by the flower shop in town for quite some time now. Although she was also subconsciously avoiding it too. It just reminded her too much of Wes. However it was a rather nice day out today, it was partly cloudy which was as bright as it was ever going to get in Prentiss. Her apartment needed some serious uplifting, and Allison thought flowers would do just the trick. Walking in Allison was immediately hit by the aroma of all types of flowers. Honestly the smell alone was enough to lift her spirits. âHi, I was wondering if you sold any peonies and maybe some baby's breath too, theyâre my favorite.â

HERCULES was not very good as choosing gifts, no matter what the occasion was or whether he was going for big or small he somehow always got it wrong. Despite having the best intentions at any given moment he still often made a mess of his loved ones birthdays... which was why he usually needed a helping hand. âHi--hello!â he beamed excitedly, letting the door shut behind him as he took a step inside. âIâm looking for something nice for my neighbor. --sheâs kind of old and silly but its her first birthday without her husband-- do you have anything for young men clearly out of their depth?â
At his words aurora almost melted at her spot at the counter. Most of her customers were men trying to make up a mistake they had made to their wife.
