Both Barnacles and Peso all shave down their fur down so they don't overheat in different climates
Peso has no clue why Shellington has such a issue waking up when they were still rookies Shellington slept for three days nonstop Peso thought he was in a coma but he was still getting REM sleep
Tweak talks to herself a lot when shes up late building the gups
Inkling first met Barnacles at a simple fair, and then Barnacles met Tweak at a engineering conference when Inkling and him were trying to get the whole octonauts idea up and running
Inkling didnt invite shellington to the octonauts for a very long time mostly since then he didnt have exactly a good relationship with Shellingtons parents (they blamed him for Shellingtons sea urchin allergy) and he was worried bringing him to the octopod always far away from home would make things worse
Dashi had met Barnacles in a random meeting, she was working under a different unit, 'NOVIUS' but Barnacles managed to convince her to join the octonauts
Peso and Kwazii were at the very bottom of the list of files and applications, both being the worst in their respected classes but Barnacles still accepted them despite overly qualified people applying turned out to be the best decision of his life
(Note: the name NOVIUS doesnt have a hidden meaning, the only meaning is how i was wondering abt the doll line NOVI STARS while making this)

There is/was a little trend on tiktok where ppl edited characters to DDLC so I took a crack at it with the rockafire. I procrastinated on this but thats okay bc I finished it. If you saw this already, then it was my tiktok account bc I posted it on there yesterday

The disabled characters arent focused on because their disablity
Geordi isnt known as the disabled engineer hes just a engineer who happened to be disabled at the same time
Jordie Phillips isnt the disabled marine biologist shes just a marine biologist that happens to be disabled
Be like that, dont make disabled characters 'the DISABLED [whatever]' make them 'the [whatever] that just happens to be disabled' because theres a very big difference
A octonauts headcanon I have that NOBODY can convince me is wrong is that
Peso, Tracker and Barnacles shave down their fur so they dont overheat while stationed in other places outside of the artic and Antarctic

Can people stop
Making ypur ocs have abusive partners/parents
Making your oc sh
Giving your ocs a disability (DID, autism, adhd etc)
IF YOUR NOT GOING TO RESEARCH IT
The difference between it is big
Some of yall make ur ocs do this for the shock and 'relatablity' that comes with characters that do this
And others do it respectfully and to spread awareness and actually show how harmful it is
You are NOT the same
Dont give ur ocs autism/adhd if your not going to show the harmful actual DISABLITY that comes with it, some of yall only want it because of the quirky 'touch of the tism'
Do research stop doing this shit its way more harmful then you think i dont want to see every oc sh and being abused the second i look at a video when yall wont even do it to spread awareness you only do it because its edgy and 'unique'
Trust me you and your oc will be better if you actually look into what you give to them
