Y'all... I can't even right now. This is my first time reading through the entire #Tanakh since coming to knowledge of #Torah. I vaguely remember the things that I read from Genesis to 2 Kings (that's how far I got as a Christian reading the #OldTestament) but I do #recall thinking "#Israel is TRIPPIN'!" lol And now with an understanding of the Torah, I don't know how to feel! I just got done reading #1Kings chapters 12-14. And I'm just so #concerned. #PeopleofGod, when will we #learn from the #sins of our forefathers? When will we stop erecting #idols and #forsaking the #instructions of #Yehovah? I used to turn my nose up at Israel and their #sins as if was any better some time ago in my pseudo-faith. People of God, we need to know our history so we don't repeat it!!! WE NEED TO KNOW OUR HISTORY SO WE DON'T REPEAT IT!!! We are so #blessed to have easy access to #theScriptures! We need to open up the #bible and #educate ourselves! We can't know how to please #God if we don't know His Word!!! Yisra'el, it is time for us to #WakeUp, #Repent, and #Obey! Though #Yeshua was speaking of Himself in this verse, I truly believe this applies to all #doers of the word. In this lifetime, we may be the only #bible someone ever reads... People are watching our every move and listening to every word we say. And our #actions must line up with our word. If we are truly living to be #saved, we must do the works of our Father, just as Yeshua did! Our #obedience to #YHVH's #Torah is #evidence of our #deliverance/ #salvation! So while we are here on this earth, we must emit #lightofYeshua! Torah (the instructions of YHVH found from Genesis to Deuteronomy) is the key... His commands are our righteousness (Deuteronomy 6:24-25) and they are not burdensome (1 John 5:3). If we love Him, we will obey His Word (John 14:15).

Whatever He says, we will do.

Hmmm... Which should include keeping His instructions (Torah) from Genesis to Deuteronomy.
