Okay so. I just think that Shep went to his high school's performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream and had a bisexual awakening about Puck. And that Puck was played by an actual sprite. Am I right or am I right? Anyway Shep being Shep, he did do something (someone?) about it.

The Hex Files

Here is my comic for Shepfest 2021. I’ve had the idea for a Shep/Penny X-Files AU for a while now, and when I heard that Fox Mulder was one of the characters who inspired Shep, it felt even more perfect. The only problem with me writing a fic is that I’ve never actually watched the X-Files 😆 ...but! A comic felt like a fun way to explore the verse a bit.

Thanks to the @shepfest mods for a lovely and lowkey event! And special thanks to the emergency dance party crew who cheered me on along the way while I made my first ever comic! 🥰

Shepard is a conspiracy obsessed Normal and Penelope is a mage the Coven assigns to infiltrate the generic government agency Shepard works for. Penelope gets partnered with Shep to monitor his work, and make sure he doesn’t get too close to uncovering any truths the Coven doesn’t want to get out there. Penelope can’t help but be a little conflicted by the subterfuge once she gets to know Shep.

And I think we all know how this eventually ends 😉

I don’t know what my purpose is, but I think I’m more like my father in this way than I am like Mom. I know it disappoints her. But I just don’t feel like finding purpose right now. I want to meet a river spirit in Utah, party with faeries in Oregon, hike with Sasquatches in Minnesota. I want to meet a dragon. Who can say they’ve met a dragon? No one I’ve heard of. I don’t even know if dragons can talk. But if they can, can you imagine the conversations you could have with an ancient thing like that?
