My corn! I'm hoping I can bet on the long warm period in Texas to harvest these babies. I have them in a breezy area, upped my nitrogen, have a neutral PH, I attempted to fix the low potash levels with some banana peals blended up with lemon rinds, and placed them directly in the soil near the roots of each plant. and just spend each morning loving them. Roger helped me put proper posts in and tie the tomato plants. They have grown more than I planned for; they aren't done. It's pretty cool. #tomatoes #gardening #gardening #organicgardening I finished deadheading them a few weeks ago, I only trim the "suckers" as needed. I have even resorted to hand pollination.

Had to harvest some red potatoes early because of all this rain and some hungry slugs. Lesson learned in slugs using beer as a trapping agent, but I get to eat these with my fam tonight.
