Ok this is gonna be my pinned post
Parodies, homages, stand alone Watsons, long lost siblings, great grandchildren, all of these are eligible, provided they're detectives, or use Holmes' deductive reasoning, or have his personality, or otherwise clearly fulfill the story-role of Sherlock Holmes.
Please send characters in one at a time- no worries about already sent asks but it makes it easier on me if I can do them one at a time. If you sent a long list I haven't posted, no worries I will get to it, but it may take a little longer than other asks.
If a character may or may not qualify, please send in why you think they do qualify. If someone sends in a character you don't think counts, please reblog or reply to the post with your reasons.
Finally- every single character submitted will be entered into the preliminary polls, which I will use to determine who qualifies for the main event. So go ahead and send in every Holmes you can think of!
