Likes can only go so far for artists. Artists may exclusively upload their artwork to tumblr, or don’t have the time to use other sites and prefer tumblr over deviantART due to its simplicity, but the tagging system can make it harder to navigate. Many artists on tumblr tag with high-traffic tags or use their own tags to prevent tag clogging which eventually become lost. That’s why it’s very important to reblog an artist’s work. 

I’m not trying to push you to ruin your blog’s aesthetic or something, nor am I saying that “you must absolutely reblog your favourite artist’s work or you’re trash”, all I’m saying is if you truly want to support your favourite artist, instead of just liking their posts, try to reblog them once in a while. The more reblogs they receive, the more exposure/notes/followers they may receive, and it’s just one of the easiest ways to show you care about them.

Just got back from my trip to England & Italy & had a wonderful time:0

Met up & spent a lovely week with my friends johnsarmylady, mattsloved1, mrspencil, jack63kids & Lucy36. On July 22nd, we also met up with thedragonaunt, MrsNoggin, TheGameMrsHudsonIsAfoot where we went to Speedy’s & saw Frankenstein with Creaturebatch at the NA & then JAL, mattie, mrsp & I went to see Richard III. We had great seats - on the stage - no blood splatter but in touching distance of Martin Freeman & then JAL & I went to the stage door & met Mr. Freeman - he was lovely & charming. I asked him if he had found filming in Calgary cold (gotta get the Canadian question) & he giggled & said “Coldest I’ve ever been!” - it was definitely the best moment:)

I edited me out of the pics & some other peeps who were there. Credit to all but one photo goes to JAL - my camera decided it would rather take the backs of peoples’ heads so I let her do the honours & she did a great job - am planning on getting a copy of the one with me & MF (second from the end) & then taking the poster I’m getting the ticket & the program & getting them framed:D

record in your phone the positive thoughts you have so you can remember them

carry water with you (always always always)

shut off your phone for an hour and have some ME time

take a hot shower or bath at the end of a stressful day

try to make plans to spend time with someone at least once a week

think about 3 things you are grateful for at the end of each day

do something calming, relaxing, and non-electronic 30 minutes before you sleep
