Am i the only one who laughed when Orihime begged our nearly dead Ichigo for help in the HM arc? Especially after she declared that she will no longer beg for his help and will instead fight besides him! If you compare this with the scene where Ichigo rescues Rukia, even though she’s about to die… she begs him to go back, because she can’t bear the thought of having him being hurt because of her - or worse. This is how you expect a girl in manga to act, especially towards the boy who is special to her - not saying she’s in love or remotely aware of her feelings, but Ichigo IS definitely special to Rukia. And you better not tell me that Orihime  is human and couldn’t do shit! Rukia was freakin gonna be executed in SS arc and still begged Ichigo to go and save himself, she worried about HIS safety, while Orihime begged Ichigo (who by the way had a freakin hole in his chest) for help.

IchiRuki, on the other hand, is one of equality and mutuality. They’ve got each others’ backs. Ichigo and Rukia always put the other first. They know when to step in and when to stand back. They fully understand each other. They’re very selfless with each other, especially Rukia and it’s almost to a fault. But hey, that’s what you do when you truly love someone…

Still trying to figure out the Kurosaki household set up. So Karin and Yuzu still live there with Ichigo. Logically Isshin had to move out because I’m going to assume Ichigo and Orihime have Isshin’s room. Yuzu has Ichigo’s room now and I’m going to assume Karin still has their original bedroom? And here’s a really good one: Ichigo said he was happy to finally have a normal life but for some reason he got mixed up with the Fullbringers who promised to help him gain his shinigami powers back. The entire Fullbring Arc.

I understand abuse, but rape? Please tell me you didn’t just compare this to rape, which is unbelievably damaging.

And as hurtful as being cheated on can be, a lot of the time the cheaters don’t actually want to hurt their official partners. That’s why they hide, that’s why they try to cover it up. They know it’s wrong.

Truthfully enough, for a good portion of cheaters, there is some sick enjoyment out of having multiple partners. Some are bored with their spousal sex, others just want the thrill of being “naughty.”

Yet there are so many people who cheat because they are fueled by deep-seated pain. It’s like saying all drug addicts are corrupt. So many people do drugs because they want to escape reality, because life was too painful. Not all cheaters are morally paralyzed. They may be in abusive marriages or simply do not get support from their marital partners.

Rape, on the other hand…

There is no reasoning behind rape that allows even a speck of compassion for the rapist. None at all.

To be clear, I wasn’t trying to attack you in this post. If it is emotionally charged, it is because as you said - rape is a sensitive topic. And I want to clarify why rape should not be lumped in together with cheating.
