we understand there is already a lot going on with the baby project currently ongoing, however we wanted to keep you up to date with the situation that occurred at halloween. as you’re all aware, the student was suspended, however we have decided now that enough time has passed for him to learn and grow from the mistakes he made. and we will be welcoming him back into the school, with full confidence that nothing like halloween will ever happen again. also, regarding the interviews in the letters previously sent out, we have decided they will no longer be necessary, as the student responsible took full blame, and no further punishment will be required.
and, on an unrelated note; after a very large donation from one of the parents, we are finally able to bring in the necessary workers to get Clumber House back up to the standards we held it at before. this will mean that the first floor of the house will be going under a lot of work, and we ask for the students living there, to respect the workers and stay mindful of them when they’re coming and going from the house.

We heard your concerns over the mods positions and how this could effect the members. So yesterday all the admins gathered around and discussed for hours long alternatives regarding this matter. In conclusion, we made some decisions that will affect a few things in the roleplay but we assure that they're minimal and won't affect interactions nor members. The first thing decided is that our WANTED CONNECTIONS page is going to change. Actually, the wanted connections page is going to cease from existence and a wanted connection BLOG is going to take it's place. In the blog there is a guide explaining better how it works, but we will explain shortly the purpose of it:
Just like our previous page, the blog functions with tags working as filters, so you'll search through them to find any connection you want. In the end this seemed the best solution because the tag system works for both desktop and mobile, so we won't need to update two pages whenever a new connection is brought in. What changes is that now everything regarding connections should be submitted to the new blog, be a connection app or a connection being taken.
Secondly, we are going to have a scheduled date for pages updates. Every Wednesday one of the admins will work through the pages to fix issues, missing links, missing data and such. For this we ask for our members to help us and inform if there are anything that should be fixed or added, we also created a discord channel so we can post logs of the updates, so you guys are always informed of what changed and what was fixed!
Thirdly, with tumblr giving us rpers a hard time and many ads side blogs being deleted or making main blogs getting erased from the tumblrsphere, we created a new account just for our ads and we WILL need someone to help us there. We assure all of you that this new blog won't affect the main, our plots nor the members and is purely there for our ads. We invite all of our members to message us if they're interested to help us with it, and we will provide a tutorial on how to mass queue and also give access to the images we use in our ads.
On further notice, the mods position will be put on hold indefinitely. We hope these new solutions can work out but we don't know if it'll sustain in the long-run, so we will patiently wait along with all of our members to see if it'll marinate for the better. Thank you once again and we apologize to any member that felt uncomfortable with the situation. As for the admin position, since the current team is also trying to adjust to these new changes, we will accept only one new member to our team, who shall receive the notice today, and if we think we'll need more help, we will inform you guys first hand!

✦ — we will allow characters to have children; however, we will have some guidelines for them to fall under; they’d have to be unplayable, they won’t be able to live within the university/in the house with their parent ( Edwinstowe is a good alternative the admin team came too, that way the parent would be able to see the child easier ), nor can they be in classes with them. however, they can be mentioned by your character or brought up in threads/in plots. and as children would be a special case, dean mickey would let the parent have more chances to leave campus and see their child.

thank you so so much to everyone who sent in apps to join our team, we got a lot more than we were expecting to get. but, even saying that, the admin team have finally come to decision of who we’ll be taking on, and it’s all of you !! however, with a minor slight twist.
we’ll be adding a new role within the group; the mods. our mods will be there to help out the admins in keeping the group running smoothly; updates, promos, answering both in discord and the main. with sherwood growing, this extra help will bring more time for the admins to work on the bigger things, keeping things interesting, events, plot drops etc.
with this role now playing a big part within the group, we’ll be taking on four of the apps to become our mod team, while the remaining two will join our admin team. within the next twenty-four hours, anyone who applied should be expecting a message from one of the admins! thank you once again.

for march hare, i plan to keep his spontaneous personality and love for spoons. i am going to have this headcanon that he has this odd fascination with collecting little spoons. like he has a whole collection of little spoons from around the world or from shops he has come across. his spontaneousness will come in the form of always being down for any adventure life brings his way.

Ryder has a heart of gold, even if his tongue doesn’t always come off that way. He has always had a big problem finding a filter in his brain, which leads him to come off a bit strange or rude to most people who encounter him. Though he does approach things with a smile and friendly attitude, there are some days that even he is gloomy and grumpy. On those days, it’s best just to let him have his cup of tea and simmer down.

recommended courses, and the only two classes he truly excels in are cooking and music. when it comes to the rest, hare could honestly care less about them. if he could bake and sing his days away and somehow make a career out of it, then that’s what the guy would honestly do until the end of time. while he doesn’t exactly participate in many clubs, he makes it a point to attend hatter’s nail painting club meetings. when it comes to the housing location, ryder feels most at home in the Clumber House.

- he has a huge temper on him. while most days he likes to show a smile to the world and approach everyone with a friendly personality, it does not take very much to set him off on one of his infamous tantrums. he can go from zero to a hundred in a matter of seconds, which is why he would rather keep to himself most of the time.
- he LOVES little spoons. yes, little spoons are his one true love. he has an entire collection of tiny spoons from either around the world, presents from christmas/birthday’s past, or random finds he has discovered in antique shops. one of his biggest secrets is the box he keeps under his bed that holds all his beloved spoons (at least the ones he could bring to university with him), and it’s something he often turns to look for whenever he feels his chaotic nature try to consume him.
- it’s not out of the ordinary to find ryder singing a tune of sorts, as the guy loves to sing. usually, he is trying to convince others to sing with him, but when that fails, he simply shrugs and proceeds to sing louder. he once tried starting a karaoke club at school, though it quickly turned into competitive singing, and he ended up dropping out of his own club.

Attention all Sherwood campus residents, please be advised that the Annual Sherwood Baby project will be taking place on November 16th and will continue until December 4th. This project has been put in place to give students an interesting perspective on being a parent. And to hopefully raise awareness on the benefits of contraception. All students will be paired randomly into groups of two, and be given their children upon the morning of Nov. 16th and all parents are required to meet with up and be assigned their children at the councilors office.
Partners are expected to meet on a daily basis to take care of the babies being given to them. Parents are also allowed to switch rooms with other classmates so they can live together during this period of time to help manage the baby. However they must understand that this is only temporary and all house guest must informed as well as the Councilors. All partners are responsible for the babies’ health and well-being. Yes these are mechanical babies but even so they are built to treated as a normal child and do catalog their care so at the end of the project period they can be processed and the general care of the baby can be logged and then graded as needed. Any damage done to the children will result in both partners being punished and the students will have to replace the cost of them. So please keep this in mind.
Everything the child will need will be provided and all parents are expected to be seen around campus. Councilors will be very vigilant during this time and documenting all parents and how they handle their children on the school grounds.
A side noted added by Dean Mickey is to remind students that this is a mandatory assignment and no one is exempt.
