There is no way anyone can look at this expression, and say that this is the face of someone who wanted to give up his life for the „real universe”.

Like, I just can’t stop thinking about the fact Aziraphale got coerced by God into commiting suicide.

This is a sad, needlesly cruel and tragic end to someone who lived in fear of a corrupted system his whole life. And to tell him at the end ,that there was no way you would’ve let him have the love of the only person that ever truly mattered, and that you always saw him as less is so incredably bleak, and depressing.

There's so many ways they could have had a better ending.

All those blank books could have been new books of life. Crowley had the moment to write them back into existing before they disappeared.

We know they are more powerful together and even a little miracle has huge power. They could have changed everything.

It was Crowley's moment to say, No I do not accept that answer... And then literally run off with Aziraphale and fix everything themselves.

Another thing, maybe thats gods plan? Like maybe that's why they were so weird? Just trying to nudge those two into realizing what they could do? Maybe they didn't die? Maybe god is giving them a moment as humans with their memories in that snowglobe ready to break and snap them back to their true forms? I bet you another apocalypse happens while they're human, i bet you they still try to save people. And i bet you, in that moment the snowglobe breaks.

This entire universe is about love, despite the circumstances. Maybe... Just maybe god has been trying to tell them... That god loves them too. That they are worth saving just as much as everyone else is. That choosing suicide to save others, while noble isn't the grand plan for anyone. Its not just humans who need saving, all sides have to fall. Its not us vs them. Or no angels and demons only humans. Its every being given a chance to heal and come together so something truly new can take place...

7 states are attempting to rule section 504 unconstitutional. section 504 of the rehabilitation act is the bill that means disabled people have public access, including attending public schools and existing in public. if this is declared unconstitutional, the rehabilitation act and the ADA itself will be heavily weakened and likely later contested, and disabled people will be far more explicitly segregated and denied access to education and public transportation. prior to the rehabilitation act and section 504, the ugly laws were in place in many municipalities that made it so it was illegal for physically disabled people to exist in public

in addition, because section 504 relied heavily on the civil rights act and on racial desegregation of schools in order to pass, if section 504 is declared unconstitutional, it will also weaken the civil rights act and brown v board of education and will give precedent toward explicit racial segregation regardless of ability

regardless of location you must advocate for section 504. if you live in alaska, florida, kansas, louisiana, missouri, montana, or texas, contact your representatives and tell them they need to pull out of texas v kennedy. this is a decision that can very likely fast track the USA back into a pre civil rights era for all marginalized groups

You wanna know how bad my muscle spasms are? I thought I should start trying to exercise and do some crunches but didn't think I'd be able to do 1 since I never exercise. I busted out 20 crunches without effort. At this point I'm surprised I'm even fat, because these muscles are apparently ripped.

David said its not them, that they didn't get to be together, in his opinion, and the almost pitying smile he gave that fan at the end like 'yeah we both know its not the same thing.'

Like I'm sure he isn't crushed like we are, he's probably had more time to deal with it and like whatever. But he did not sound happy to me, he sounded like he thought the whole thing was stupid but what can be done now?

Masada, in the Judean Desert, is where Jewish rebels chose death over surrender to Rome. It is etched into the national psyche of Israel, along with a vow that the Jewish people will never again be left with no option but defeat.

After crushing the Bar Kokhba revolt in the year 135, Emperor Hadrian renamed the province Syria Palaestina, invoking the Philistines, enemies of Israel, to erase Jewish identification with the land.

The name stuck. My Jewish grandfather, born in Palestine, was considered Palestinian. Before 1948, “Palestinian” referred to the Jewish community as well as Arab people. The name Israel was chosen, in 1948, as it was the ancient biblical name of the Jewish people and the kingdom associated with the land. Especially after the Palestine Liberation Organization was established in 1964, “Palestinian” became associated with Arab nationalism.

In 2024, Toronto adopted the indigenous names Ookwemin Minising and Biidaasige Park for new public spaces. Ireland continues to restore traditional Irish names via a 2024 government initiative, the Placenames Committee. Rhodesia became Zimbabwe in 1980, and Swaziland Eswatini in 2018. So too should Judea and Samaria be restored, as these original names also reconnect the land to the history of an indigenous people, including the battle David and Goliath fought in Judea in the Valley of Elah.

The collection of yarns I'm using for this project is quite varied. The brown, dark green, red, and purple are all two strands of size 10 crochet thread of slightly different shades held together to achieve fingering. I have an unreasonable amount of crochet thread I'm trying to use up.

I wake up. I check the news. I read an article about how antisemitism has increased yet again in a country. I clock into work. I go to lunch and wonder if my subway guy who is always excited to see me and writes my name with a little design every day would still treat me the same if he knew i was jewish. Clock out. I walk home through alley ways to avoid walking past people who have explicity called for the death of jews. I spend some times on my hobbies, maybe see a friend. Eat dinner. Check social media to see people local to me spread antisemitism, and maybe i even ruminate on the antisemitism i experienced irl that week. I go to sleep. I wake up, check the news and see an article about how another country also has had an increase in antisemitism. I clock into work....
