❝ Easy, Helen, easy, easy girl. You're overreacting, everything's fine, they're just... all getting coffee! At the same time. Yeah. ❞
I better not get sick during one of my classes. That wouldn't be very exciting. Oh, god.
Public Service announcement: When walking on please don’t text. Some girl just completely ran into me because she wasn’t looking.
Yeah, some kids tend to care more about their phones than the world around them.
You’re not serious.
Unfortunately, I'm very serious. I went to high school with this kid. He didn't release his middle name until like, senior year. Then, we all found out why.
Are…are you serious?
Completely, actually.
Poor kid.
Yeah, he probably had a rough childhood.
I went ta college with a John Johnson III. Which means he’s literally John, son-a John, son-a John.
Wait, really? That's pretty great.
I feel that people who have their entire first name somewhere in their last name have had a rough journey. Like, I once knew a Daniel Daniels. But, I think his parents just had a sick sense of humor, because his middle name was Dan.
Challenge Twenty-One → Basics & Cosmetic // PT. II
How do they usually dress? What do they wear to sleep? Do they wear jewelry? // Heather’s everyday clothing options usually include an oxford shirt and some type of, usually black, pant. She very rarely wears shirts and only wears jeans and stuff when she’s doing stuff with her family or running errands. Especially, now that she’s teaching, she dresses quite nicely. Even though she’s teaching hand-to-hand combat. Though, she can do that just fine in heels. It’s the kids she’s more worried about. Makeup is typically minimal, with more focus to the eyes, and jewelry is usually non-existent, as it could snag on something when she’s teaching. When she goes to bed, she usually wears a t-shirt and shorts and is usually sweating.

Challenge Seventeen → Your Hometown
Heather was born in Conyers, Georgia, but thinks of Greenwich Village as her hometown, since she moved there at a young age. However, she would travel quite a bit due to her job as she grew older. When she was able to live there for a while, she did quite like it. She actually enjoys most of Manhattan and would try to see as much as she could as a young adult. And, when she had children, she'd take them around as well. Mainly, to Washington Square Park. She and her family lived there for a while before moving to Long Island about a year or two ago.
Challenge Ten → My Greatest Fear
Heather has seemed to grow more and more fearless throughout her life. However, one thing will always remain the same. She is absolutely terrified of losing her children. And, it's kind of odd, since she told herself a million times that she would never have children. She just never thought she was that type of girl. She was obviously a bit wrong, there.
There were a few times over the past years, where the lives of her children had been endangered for various reasons, and Heather sometimes still has nightmares about it all. There is just simply nothing more frightening to her, and she has dealt with some shockingly messed up issues in her line of work, but she's certainly not that afraid of that anymore. Her children are more important than herself.
Challenge Five → A List
What are your characters’ goals for their time at the school? Feel free to make a list!
Teach self defense, as well. Maybe have a special program for it. Ask about that.
Get the kids to come to college. Or, even just go to college. They don't need to come here. They just need to attend.
Stop worrying about the kids. Focus on work. Violet's a mature young lady. Daniel probably won't burn the house down. They'll be fine. And, their father will hopefully be attentive.
Work hard, but not too hard. Try to make friends and all. That would probably be nice. Like, go out or something, maybe. Couldn't kill me.
Stop eating so much takeout.
