How could I forget my first sketch of Tacit? I even tried to vector her, though I never got around to coloring in her outline. I should do that at some point. Looking back on these, I see so many bad mistakes, but I'll cut myself a little slack since these were done around seven months ago and among my first full drawing of ponies. At least you can see what colors I have in mind when I sketch Tacit.

"Buried Simper"

It's like finding buried treasure, because Simper is so cute.

Really, though, when Simper is sleeping at the beach she's just such an easy target for Tacit. Of course, after the initial laugh, the worry that she's gone too far will set in. She's...uh...not the best at making new friends, especially when trying to overcome her shyness and make the first move.

I tried to muss up the hair on Simper's left side (since she's been lying down), but it seems like Simper can't help but look pretty.

Meet Tacit!

She's a little bit quiet.

So, I finished this several months ago, but never got around to posting it. I was having a bad week, which is why she's sad. I'm don't have a clue how big I'm supposed to make the pictures when I upload them.

Made a two-frame animation of the vector, cthulhuandyou style.

I wanted a picture of Pinkie Pie sleeping, so I re-vectored the second image I posted here while changing a few things (fixed a mistake in the hair, smoothed some curves, and obviously changed the eyes/mouth).

I didn't make the original image, but would like to give the creator credit for his/her work. I tried tracking the info down, but could only find an unsourced image on the fillydelphia tumblr. If you know who made the image, let me know.

Here's what the sketch looks like for Fluttershy, who's going to be the next I attempt to vector. She was a lot easier to draw than Pinkie.

Note the random reference circles. I'm not even sure why I drew them; I must have been pretending I knew what I was doing.

I finally finished my first vector. I sketched Pinkie from "Art of the Dress," scanned it into the computer, and vectored it.

If it looks a little odd, it's most likely due to my lack of drawing ability, though my vectoring skills are still abysmal at this point.

This is a third of the picture I wanted to get out by Christmas, but I might re-purpose it for New Years or a later holiday.
