What you can do when you are going through a hard time <3
1 Slowing down
Literally, i’m trying to slow down in every little aspect of my life and be in the moment. I try to do things one at a time and focus only on one thing, rather than getting lost in order to do as many as possible. For example When I walk, I try to feel it and each of my steps, not just constantly rush.
2 Setting small goals
Just to feel at least 1% better everyday. I know that when you feel bad it’s hard to take care of yourself but try to do the smallest things that show you care of yourself. It could be it could be a walk, a relaxing bath, even breathing deeply for a while. You can also write down at the end of the day what thing did you do today to take care of yourself.
3 Gratitude
Really, I know that a lot of people talking about this but it could be so helpful specially when you have bad time. when you focus on what you already have, your brain finds more and more of those things. You can write 5 things in the morning or evening they can be really small, such as: breath, that you exist, health, water. often, when we think deeply, it may turn out that our problems are a privilege
4 Catch your thoughts
When you start overthinking try to stop your thoughts and think about them deeply. see if they are opinion or fact. Most of them are often not real, but merely imagined. Remember, only the present moment counts; we can't change the future. We can't predict the past.
5 Be your own defender
When people feel bad, they tend to beat themselves up even more. Don't do that. Accept how you feel and don't get attached to that emotion. Defend yourself and your soul above all else, and don't criticize yourself further.
