The Ultimate Pregnancy Prompts List (200+)
This was created with some help from @rovvboat and @chromecutie , and after watching and taking a lot of inspiration from the movie adaptation of “What To Expect When You’re Expecting”, some are direct quotes but I didn’t bother to reference them, as a lot are also ones that were spontaneously thought of in relation to some of the others.
Feel free to use these prompts and reblog them so that us writers or readers out there can get some more domestic content! I felt there was a real lack of this content so I made my own. Send a submission to me if you’d like me to add any of your own to the list, I’ll happily credit you for the content!

Scenario Prompts: (10)
Person B will be referenced in all as the pregnant partner.
How does A react to B’s intense and specific cravings? @rovvboat
B looks like a penguin when they walk while heavily pregnant and despite teasing B, A adores it, a lot.
B still does their favourite hard-core activities (archery/swimming/running/your choice) while pregnant until they’re 8/9 months when the baby is ready to pop and this astounds A when they find out one day.
B is increasingly more uncomfortable as the months pass by, becoming self-conscious over their weight gain and bulging belly, A finally has enough and tells them that they are beautiful/normal/etc. and comforts B thoroughly.
A is simply larger than B, and once B’s belly really starts to show they tend to start stealing A’s clothing and wear it because they’re ‘so damn comfy’, and A, well absolutely loves it.
A massages B’s feet after a really long day and B appreciates it immensely.
Whenever B wants to wear shoes with laces they call for A loudly, each time A rushes in panicked only to find that B is whining because they can’t tie their shoelaces, A sighs and promptly ties them for B.
B usually has a drink or two whenever they are home/finished with a hard day at work, A begins to notice that B has been avoiding their usual habit, B avoids A’s questioning for a while before finally confessing that they’re pregnant, what is A’s reaction to this news?
B has decided to follow up on an overdue check-up with their doctor, and discovers to their surprise that they are actually five months pregnant and that they just hadn’t been showing the symptoms during that time. @chromecutie
A and B have been struggling for months to get pregnant and have finally decided to try a surrogate or IVF, during the process B crosses their fingers and closes their eyes while saying the words “Stick baby stick!” @chromecutie
