Lightning and Sharks Just Don't Mix // Siarc and Jen
It was the first day of their vacation, and Jen was standing in the elevator with her purse, looking up at the digital sign atop the elevator door, waiting for it to show her floor number. Once she heard the elevator ding, she put on a bright smile and walked out into the large hallway, looking for her room. Once she found it, she swiped the card the Check-In desk gave her, and opened the door.
Her eyes slightly widened at the sight of the large and well decorated room in front of her. To her, it was like those hotel rooms in movies that only millionaires could buy without going homeless. she walked in, the door closing behind her. She gave herself a quick tour, appreciating the two large beds, air conditioner, and an equally large bathroom.
She dropped her purse on the nearest bed, and lied down next to it, her back on the extremely soft mattress. She decided to just chill until her roommate got here; Siarc. She had smiled when she read the roommate assignments. She had a roommate who was very nice and easy to get along with, and a fiancé as equally so. She closed her eyes, waiting for the telltale click of the door.
See, Si wasn't used to hotel rooms. The plush furniture, the classy decor, everything was almost too much for the woman. She'd grown up in a poor, farming family in rural Wales, so electricity was even something she appreciated greatly. And now-- well, it made a large, wide, happy grin pull onto the Welsh woman's face.
Hopping happily towards the door to her room, she put her key in the lock and opened the door.
Her eyes went wide, and-- if possible-- her smile got even wider.
"Ah, miss Jen, yer m'roommate?" She hadn't had time to read the list.
[/She looked down at her feet, smiling, before looking back up at him.]
We ‘ave ta cuddle first, s-syr.
[/He opens his arms.]
Then c’mere, beautiful.
[/She giggled, then hugged him, before grinning.]
Jus’ tell me when ya think we’ve cuddled enough b’fore we get ta tha next part.
[/He rubs her upper back.]
Mm, you call it.
Mmm... now.
[/She grinned wider before leaning up to softly press her lips to his.]
[/She looked down at her feet, smiling, before looking back up at him.]
We ‘ave ta cuddle first, s-syr.
[/He opens his arms.]
Then c’mere, beautiful.
[/She giggled, then hugged him, before grinning.]
Jus' tell me when ya think we've cuddled enough b'fore we get ta tha next part.
[/She turned even redder, choking on some air.]
S-S-Syr!
…How many time do we a-actually do tha’?
[/He chuckles.]
We do that nearly every day, beautiful.
[/She opened her mouth to say something, then closed it, blushing, as she thought.]
…Las’ Tuesday. We didn’ do i’ las’ Tuesday, I think.”
[/He furrows his eyebrows.]
Hm, you’re right…
[/He grins.]
Guess we’ll just have to make up for it, then.
[/She looked down at her feet, smiling, before looking back up at him.]
We 'ave ta cuddle first, s-syr.
[/She turned even redder, choking on some air.]
S-S-Syr!
…How many time do we a-actually do tha’?
[/He chuckles.]
We do that nearly every day, beautiful.
[/She opened her mouth to say something, then closed it, blushing, as she thought.]
...Las' Tuesday. We didn' do i' las' Tuesday, I think."
[/She turned slightly red.]
…I, uh, w-w-went on tha internet again, s-syr.
[/He raises an eyebrow, his face flushing and lips curling into a very slight grin.]
Oh? Well, now we have a name for it.
[/She turned even redder, choking on some air.]
S-S-Syr!
...How many time do we a-actually do tha'?
[/She turned slightly red.]
...I, uh, w-w-went on tha internet again, s-syr.

Happy Birthday, Primal, syr.
shieldsharksmile started following you
Greetings, my lady.
[/She smiled, turning the slightest bit of red before bowing her head slightly, as she was taught to when she was younger.]
Ah, hello, syr. S'nice ta meet ya.
[/She flushed even worse, so bright it could almost be seen through her fingers.]
B-But when did y-you— how did y-you—
…
T-Tha fl-flowers’re pretty…
[/He chuckled.]
Well, I pick-pocketed your key card, bought some flowers, and waited for you to get a new room key and come upstairs.
Now, are you going to ask twenty questions, or are you going to come over here?
[/She was still red, and she was torn between scolding him for pick-pocketing her, and asking him when he had the time to do any of this. Throwing both of those out the window, she walked towards him, her fingers still on her face, eyes peeking through.]
...Uhu.
"Dear Siarc, If you're reading this, I passed out. Don't feel bad about waking me up; it's not like I'm going to get much sleep. I already know what's going to happen: I'm going to mumble groggily, then look up at you and smile to the best of my abilities, because to me, it's like waking up to the sight of an angel. Oh god, that sounded horrible, didn't it? Either way, I smile because you're the most beautiful woman ever, and because you're mine. I still can't believe that, you know? I'm sorry. I know I hurt you, and though I'm not going to forgive myself, I hope you can forgive me. I could go into a whole long-ass paragraph about this, but I know you don't want to hear that. Just know that I'm truly sorry, and I'm willing to do anthing for you to forgive me. Also, now I'm just rambling, but I can't tell you how many times I've been dreaming (look, I'm actually getting sleep) about a future with you. I've seen you in a white gown, I've seen you in a hospital gown holding our newborn daughter. I hope this can become reality, and we can really grow old together. You're my forever. Love, Malcolm." [/He places the letter next to the bed in his hotel room and fell asleep before Siarc returned with medicine.]
She turned beet-red, then a wide smile spread across her face. Yeah, she had been a little sad, but it was easy to get over-- he hadn't hurt her.
Trying to wipe the happy tears from her face so it doesn't stain the letter, she places the medicine bottle down and the letter next to it, crawling into bed with him.
"Ya didn' 'urt me, syr. I love ya too much fer ya to." She ran her fingers through his hair, smiling, holding his head to her chest as she started to fall asleep.
[/She made unintelligible noises, turning bright red, before clasping her hands over her eyes.]
S-S-Syr…
[/He flushes slightly, but grins nonetheless.]
Hello, beautiful.
W-W-W-What are ya d-d-doin’, s-s-syr?
[/She peeked through her eyes briefly, appreciated the spectacular view, then covered her eyes back up again.]
Waiting for you, of course.
[/She flushed even worse, so bright it could almost be seen through her fingers.]
