Hiii it’s me again and I’m back with another Ace Combat dragon. I think about this AU far too much, I’ve put a lot of worldbuilding into it for what it is.

I’m also not sold on Longcaster’s cutie mark (does he get an emblem? He might. If so I’ll have to edit his design anyway) so he is subject to change.

From the moment Zip hatched, they’ve been used as a supergenerator for an illegally-run manufacturer. They’ve known about 5 feet of walking space and nothing but metal. They’ve never felt the gentleness of a parent or the tenderness of love. They’ve never seen the sky or felt grass underneath their talons.

One day the machinery stopped. That’s not to say that something happened to Zip, but just that the entire factory seemed to have been shut off. Zip no longer heard the sound of a thousand talons scraping metal floors or the faraway murmurs of a thousand voices. The factory was off, but no one was there to save Zip.
