i wanted to do tsc too but. burning myself out and i'm also hungry lmao so it's just the fighting sticks.

i'm pretty satisfied with them all except blue. which tbf i did them in a rush just to get it done, but i'm wondering if i should've picked a different tribe for them entirely. tsc i'll defo take more time because they're gonna come with a few doodles explaining how they got to the group, but that'll be later.

you might notice anatomy is off here or there or coloring is rough, i know, these aren't supposed to be very high quality, these are really just references for myself so i can draw them higher quality in actual finished art lol. purely for the colors and basis of the designs

I’m really enamored with the dynamic of two characters who work perfectly in tandem, like pacific rim drift compatible level, but they don’t like each other. It’s not even as strong an emotion as hate it’s just a very neutral-negative dislike, but they still act in perfect concert and their individual abilities are fully complementary

Something neuroscience-y that helps with prose: attention is selective. A character will not notice everything in a room. They will notice what matters to their goal, fear, desire, training, wound, or obsession. A jealous character notices hands. a hungry character notices food. A soldier notices exits. A lonely character notices pairs. Description becomes character when attention has a bias.
