Day 7 of Stinktober 2025: Kaiju Kreep!
It's October! I know I'm a day late, but I got busy yesterday... Anyway! I'm excited that it's finally October. It's one of my favorite times of year, and it brings me a lot of joy! The combo of cool weather, falling leaves, rain, and spooky fun just hits perfectly. 🎃
Autumn has arrived! I'm ready for cooler weather, colorful leaves, rain, and spooky season!
Happy Friday the 13th!
If the Sanderson sisters get resurrected again (I think there's a third one in the works, right?) they should just open an apothecary shop and sell to all the modern witches. That would probably work better than their usual plans. And maybe, this could be their logo! Hit me up, Winnie.
PSA:
just sayin' ;)
The yearly cycle of record-breaking weather and terrible natural disasters is getting really old really fast. Meanwhile, most nations acknowledge climate change, but it feels like nobody is actually putting any tangible effort into addressing it. It's a bummer, and kinda discouraging to think about while sitting in abnormally hot weather and reading about entire towns burning down.
I recently made this cute grilled cheese mascot inspired by the restaurant in Regular Show! It's one of my fave shows to watch on repeat.
I'm a bit behind in posting this, but I saw Asteroid City a couple weeks ago and really like it. So, I made this minimalist poster to celebrate it.
LESS THAN 24 HOURS UNTIL BARBENHEIMER IS UPON US!
Which one are you more excited to see? Personally, I'm hyped about both. I'm seeing Barbie opening day, then Oppenheimer the following weekend, because I waited too long to grab tickets for it.
I fell out of the habit of seeing movies at the theater for a few years due to the pandemic, but I'm excited to finally being getting back into it. Going to the theater to see a new movie is one of my favorite things in life.
It's been unusually hot in Oregon lately. Like, 90+ degrees everywhere, even on the coast. I'm not a fan of this weather, but I was inspired to make this while eating ice cream one night to keep cool.
I have this purple prickly pear cactus sitting in my window (Opuntia gosseliniana, I think), and I got the random idea to turn it into a character. Then I thought, "What if it was the mascot for a brewery?" This is the answer to that question.
Would you drink this beer?
Note to self. Note to you.
Diamond City Business Logos, Part III: Swatters
If you're looking for a form of self-defense that involves more blunt force, look no further than Swatters! Moe Cronin will sell you a vintage baseball bat, strapped with your choice of sharp objects. Oh, and he can paint them too!
Stay tuned for more!
