I watch Asian dramas. Originally made the blog for gifs but now I just want to use it to voice my opinion on episodes of dramas I'm watching. Full reviews will be posted on my wordpress blog. Please keep in mind that these are my personal opinions. Also, I will randomly post pictures of actors and actresses I like. BLOG MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS! I’m not a robot: I hit a wall

I think I hit a wall with this drama. Liked a lot the first 16 or so episodes, but I don’t have the desire to watch it more than this.

It was quite obvious what type of drama I’m Not A Robot would be. Even so I started watching being fully aware that I won’t reach the final episode.

I mean, not like it’s bad, in fact it’s the only Korean drama I’m currently following, however it’s also not the kind of story that will catch my attention for a long period of time.

I’m going to watch episode 19 and 20 as well, if I’ll want to fast forward too much then we know what that means.....

[Jdrama] ‘Doctor-X Season 5’ ~ 1-10 END review/impression/opinion ~

Every time I came back for the characters. I’m not someone who normally is interested in medical dramas, simply because these kinds of dramas aren’t my type moreover medical terms make me drowsy.

Doctor X is not a series that can create the feeling of wanting to watch more and more but as you watch, you somehow turn loyal to the characters. They each have a unique flavour that gets to you.

[Jdrama] ‘Kataomoi’ ~ 1-6 END review/impression/opinion ~

First of all, before I start my post I want to make something clear. The drama tackles gender identity disorder as its major plot line, however as I’m not knowledged enough concerning this aspect, I can’t say if Kataomoi has done well in regards of making a good representation of the subject to its viewers.

Kataomoi is the common WOWOW drama, well produced and acted with an interesting plot that makes you want to research more on the subject outside of the drama. The flow of the episodes felt a bit slow for my taste but at the same time I can’t complain, as the hints were given in a way so that we, as viewers, can digest everything easily, considering the heavy theme.

[Kdrama] ‘Because It’s My First Life’ ~ 1-16 END review/impression/opinion ~

Because It’s My First Life came to me at the right time, when I was looking for a romance story sprinkled with some comedy while it still stirred my curiosity. The actors and overall the production staff managed to nurture my desire of looking forward to new episodes thus I can wholeheartedly say that this drama was a lovely watch.

Marriage isn’t about just the two people who marry, but about those around them too? Or not? Well, I think that this drama explained quite good that marriage is something that affects and includes other people as well however we should never forget that what are the most important factors of marriage, the actual two people who are promising each other to live together sharing values, ideas and most importantly love and respect.

[Kdrama] ‘School 2017′ ep 7&8 ~ impression/ opinion/review ~

Dae Hwi’s so called self righteous attitude towards anything and everything is a façade. Complaining that rich kids have all they want thanks to their parents but he also uses the same tactics to win more points and advantages. I tried to emphasize with him but it isn’t working for me. Coming onto Tae Woon to bark for the fact that his father gives him benefits but it’s not like Dae Hwi is on the same level as kids like Sa Rang who really doesn’t use any ‘funny’ ways to gain anything.

[Kdrama] ‘Save Me (OCN)’ ep 1&2 ~ first impression/ opinion/review ~

It’s a really uncomfortable drama to watch but at the same time you can’t stop. It tackles so many important aspects and all are shown in a way that made me vomit. I don’t know, maybe my stomach is too weak but it was disturbing watching the bulling scene in the bathroom and the scene where the weird white haired guy put his hand on Sang Mi’s tight. Just ew!

The directing plays a major role in creating a great atmosphere. I rarely found myself liking this broadcast channel’s directing style, but lately OCN stepped up their game.

Hey there, sorry for the late reply. I don’t really follow twitter accounts for jdramas or news since I can search for information by my own because I know the language. Most people I follow are Asian drama bloggers that I talk with about various dramas.

[Kdrama] ‘38 Task Force’ ep 1&2 ~ first impression/ opinion/review ~

After Misaeng, Korea walks on the same path Japan used to after Hanzawa Naoki, by making human office dramas that may touch the viewers and make them feel that the characters are living their life.

38 Task Force is a drama about the leader of team 1 from Seoul City Hall and a con man who work together by chasing rich people who refuse to play large amount of money for their taxes. As a middle class person and with all the news about rich people not paying their taxes, it will be strangely satisfactory to see the team chase after them and make them pay what they are supposed to. Even if it’s just a drama.
