Phantom Lawyer (2026)
PHANTOM LAWYER - Episode 11
I'm turning you down first. 👻 PHANTOM LAWYER 1.01
phantom lawyer is nothing new like istg we have seen this plot many many many times just in recent kdrama years, but yoo yeonseok and esom are always a joy to watch on screen, there were already references to hospital playlist, taxi driver, and doctor romantic, and it's an underdog story with a charming cast! how could i not enjoy it?!
and from some of the teasers i am seeing romance between the two and they clearly become a ride or die team eventually.
of course they started off on pretty bad footing (FL treating him quite poorly due to his father's issue - which i guarantee was him being framed - but i have a feeling it goes deeper than that and he may have done something that impacted her family) AND him saying he's possessed by ghosts is def going to make her think he's insane, but hey it's 16 episodes and she already showed growth in episode 2 to help him soooo i think it's gonna be fun!
Phantom Lawyer - whumplist
Summary: Shin I-Rang (Yoo Yeon-Seok) is a lawyer. After he opened his own law office in the former home of a shaman, he has begun to see ghosts. Despite having a reliable appearance, he is actually timid and clumsy. Against his will, ghost clients, holding unfair grievances, come to him. Meanwhile, Han Na-Hyun (Esom) is a hot shot lawyer with a 100% success rate at a big law firm. Winning cases is the only thing that matters to her. She has risen to the top of her field with her cold and ruthless approach to work, but, one day, she loses a trial to Shin I-Rang. This changes her life.
At first, she completely distrusts him as he talks about the ghosts that he can see. Yet, with his sincerity and bizarre cases that unfold in front of her eyes, she slowly opens her mind to him. With their distinct abilities, Shin I-Rang and Han Na-Hyun solve cases together.
Where to watch: Viki, Netflix
My Thoughts: i really enjoyed this drama. Balance the action in the fantasy really well, and the characters were fairly interesting. My only gripe is that that I wish he didn't need to smoke the incense to see ghosts like, I wish they would have given him the ability later on. Which will make more sense when you watch the drama. Otherwise, beginning to end, it's an extremely fun watch and a great addition to the ghost genre. Some of the whump also wasn't as detailed as it could be like after he gets stabbed we just kinda of gloss over it.
Whumpee

ABSOLUTELY INSANE SPELLING MISTAKE FROM ME HERE DEARLORD
I love it when my favourite rock band gets pregnant !!!!!
Phantom Lawyer
Two lawyers with trauma histories, they're going to have a bonding moment soon... you just know it....
Already laughing at the scenes with Shin I-rang's brother-in-law (played by Jun Suk-ho). His role as a part-time actor is boding well for future comedic scenes to be lively and the two actors are interacting well so far.
Mom just rolling with whatever her son is doing...loving it. (trying not to spoil too much here)...
