Everytime I think of how Jonghyun showed so many signs of saying goodbye and that he was going to leave and we didn’t notice. And when I think about how he planned everything so carefully. And everytime I think of how he passed still thinking he wasn’t good enough.

These are the thoughts that break me the most.

This is SM Entertainment. We are sorry that we have to deliver this heartbreaking news. On 18th December, Shinee member Jonghyun has suddenly left us. The deceased has been discovered unconscious in a residence in Cheongdam-dong, and was sent to the nearby, DaeHak Hospital, and passed away on the evening of 18th December.

Our sadness can’t be compared to what his beloved family, who had lost their beloved son and brother but to all of us, shinee members, SM artistes and employees who have worked together (with Jonghyun) for a long time, we grieve for his passing with great shock and sadness.

Jonghyun was a truly great artist, and more than anyone else loved music and always gave his best to showcase his ability in performances.

To the fans who have shown endless love to Jonghyun, our hearts ache to bring you this news.

We ask that you refrain from spreading rumors and excessive media reports so that the family members, who are in great sorrow are able to mourn for their loss.

To respect his family’s wishes, a funeral will be held as privately as possible, with his family members, close friends and co-workers.

Once again, we send our deep condolences as we send Jonghyun on his final journey.

okay so shinee fanfic writer support group (catchier title in the works) is….going to be a thing?

if all goes well, there shall be 2 stages. stage 1 will be a small group of about ~25 ppl on a groupchat on LINE. if all goes well, we’re going to stage 2: move to a forum and open up again for more people to join.

the goal here is to enable everyone to have a bro or a group of bros from beginning to end with their fic. so you can pop in the group chat at 3 am like OMG GUYS I JUST GOT THE BEST IDEA EVER and someone else will say LAY IT ON ME BRO, and you can bounce ideas off each other. and then when it’s written, you have a whole group of people who can leave comments and beta until you’re comfortable enough to publish it on our blog or whatever, and then your new bros will continue to support you by spreading your work of art around for the world to see! pretty cool, right?

i’m going to make a post sometime within the next couple days about how you can join this group, so keep an eye out if you’re interested! feel free to come at me with any suggestions or questions you might have and stay tuned :)
