Apparently two vastly different travellers with different intents, if they travelled far enough, were bound to meet each other.
But despite not being really near to tall grass, or in a place where Pokémon roamed at all, Hapu found herself in front of one. And not just any Pokémon. It had a majesty of its own, unlike whatever she’d seen in Alola.
But she identified it as a wild one, and it applied a weird pressure in the air, so she instinctively defended herself.
She flung the Ultra Ball, and the Pokémon placed itself in front of the trainer, awaiting a command. Which Hapu didn’t issue yet. She wanted to see the beast’s actions.
Well, that, and Suicune is faster than her own Pokémon.
What was this place? Aurora had found herself on a small set of islands surrounded by water. They were quite nice and sunny, actually. With the warm weather and the nice water, she felt at ease here.
Until she reached Poni Island, that is.
She had felt the faint presence of another legend, and set off to investigate. Only to run into a small trainer, who noticed her.
Aurora just watched as she sent out a Gastrodon and waited. Most likely for the Suicune to make a move.
But Aurora didn’t make any attacks. Instead she cried out and stepped a little closer.
She was curious about this trainer. Had she been blessed by one of the Legends of this region? Her scent gave off that impression, as if one of the Guardians were watching over her.
So she did the right thing in her eyes to show respect to those chosen.
She gave a full bow towards Hapu, beginning to speak.
“It seems you have been blessed by a fellow legend of this region. I offer my deepest respects and congratulations.”
