Hello, and welcome to my tumblr page! I'm Korey Ficara, lover of videogames and author of the novel Mercenaries: Shadow and Red. The story is set in a comic book-type world where superheroes and powers exist, but the focus is on two young mercenaries who operate in such a world. Shadow, a half-demon ninja, and Red, a gunslinging nutcase, are hired by a crime lord to rescue his daughter from another crime lord.The story is meant for a mature audience, but if you're interested, you can purchase copy from barnesandnoble.com, amazon.com, or booksamillion.com as a paperback, hardcover, or e-book. If you do decide to purchase it, then please consider writing a review on those sites and spread the word about it. In the meantime, I'll be writing my next book, Adventurers: Meryl and Bear. While not exactly a sequel, it's set in the same world, so expect a few nods and references.

My Frustrations With RWBY Volume 4: Part I - The Timeskip

Hey everyone!

Your friendly neighborhood RWBY fangirl is back with another long-ass series of text posts! And no, not about Pyrrha. Not yet, at any rate. No, this is about the first half of Volume 4, and some of my frustrations with it thus far.

If that immediately made you roll your eyes, and reading on will do nothing more than aggravate you… bare with me. r/RWBY subReddit readers, I will likely have you drunk under the table by the end of this (in joke ;P). 

I will, however, make it clear right now that I will be at least trying to offer solutions to the noticed troubles I bring up, so it’s not simply me complaining. I don’t want to say that if you don’t agree, don’t read, ‘cause that’s a dick move. I am fully open to debate, counter argument and any such form of comment. If you’d like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to send me an ask! I swear, I don’t bite.

Furthermore, I also wish to say that I do love RWBY, and I don’t wish to belittle all the hard work the crew has done. These are simply little things (or big things) that have caught my attention and have confused me, or I feel should be brought up.
