It’s 2 AM and my brain went: "You need to draw Gaara and Rock Lee eating instant ramen right now." 🍜 So here is some cozy GaaraLee!

I wanted something soft, so I used a cute Pinterest ref for this drawing. Fun fact: they are already covered in glitter film and cut out for a special spread in my upcoming camp sketchbook! I’m still catching up on the anime (almost at the Chunin Exams battle!), but fanart completely sold me on this ship. They have my whole heart. ♥︎

Honestly, hyperfixating on a character before even watching their main episodes is my toxic trait.

Today I have Hinata! She is cut out and covered with glitter/sugar film (you can't really see it in the photo though...) ☆★ I'm preparing her to be pasted into a new travel sketchbook — I'll take it with me to camp on August 13th. (*＾3＾)/～

While drawing, I remembered how back in 2019 (referring to the backstory from my Gaara post lol), my 7-year-old self used to agree with haters on Likee app who called her a "flat/two-dimensional" character just to get likes. Now that I'm 15 and picked up the show again, I'm currently on the Chunin Exams arc, and I look at Hinata and her team with completely different eyes. They are actually so cool! Growing up and rethinking things feels amazing... Though I still have a long way to go, so my opinion might change again.

Officially crawling out of a brutal one-month art block! Last time I drew anything decent was back in June, but this boy finally brought my motivation back. (*゜▽゜)_♡

My history with Naruto is wild. It started and ended in 2019 during school quarantine. I watched a few episodes with terrible voice acting until my grandma overheard the main character turning into a girl using some "sexy jutsu" from my phone. She lowkey banned me from watching it, lol. Looking back, it’s so funny and embarrassing.

Years later, after seeing cool edits of Gaara, I decided to give the anime a second chance. Yes, I am one of those people who starts watching a whole show just for one single character. And this is exactly that case.
