TFC: Doctor catching you designing clothes for him

How i believe everyone's favrouit plague doctor Bird would feel if he found you making clothes for him. Would he catch you using his cape or spare uniform for measurements?

Doctor is a large man, that is no surprise to anyone. Unfortunately getting new clothes for him is not an easy task. Given his overall height and build, finding anything to fit him well is like looking for a needle in a haystack, and most designers either out right refuse to work with the circus or are so expensive Ticket Taker has a heart attack.

Whilst almost everyone in the circus can sew, they now just don’t have enough time to make spare uniforms, let alone new clothes entirely. Does he have his own clothes? Yes he does but there is only so many times he can wear his incognito gear before it becomes a cliche. Until you.

You got a whiff of his clothing situation and dove head first in. A new found determination to get your bird man a new wardrobe was in full effect the problem was his measurements. Thanks to Ticket and Jester, you already had a rough idea of his proportions however those were done when the circus first began years ago and he has built up significantly since.

Operation cloak thief was in full effect. You managed to snag his cloak during one of his “tent clean ups” ; it tended to get in his way so it was one of the few moments where he took it off. Luckily the remaining portions of his uniform were easy. He had a spear uniform he kept meaning to repair so you used those for exact proportions and the cloak for length/wrap.

Unfortunately for you, time was not on your side - Whilst getting the exact measurements for the wrap portion of the cloak, Doctor came back and caught you red handed. Welp, that surprise went out the window. Doesn’t help that your sketch pad was open right next to where he was standing, so your designs for his outfits are just right there in his face too.

At first he said nothing, and simply tilted his head towards you, a sign usually meant for confusion then a soft chuckle followed. Until you explained what you were doing, then the confusion set back in. You want to make him… new clothes? Why? He hasn’t had new clothes in years. He has 2 outfits. What more does he need?

After explaining your motives to him, Doctor eases back his questioning and instead turns to fascination, He thought there wasn’t anything else who could learn about you, and once again you have proven him wrong and now he is hooked. If you really want to take time out of your day to make him an outfit then he won’t stop you. Doctors so used to taking care of everyone else that it's a bit jarring to be on the opposite side.

Now you can get accurate measurements from the man himself. Occasionally he will glance at the pad and offer a comment or two - mostly asking about the designs but occasionally giving a hint on what he wants. Pretty much you got his style spot on - He’s pretty easy to read sometimes. 

Doctor does want to be there whilst you make the outfit and will attempt to convince you to allow him to watch, but he already ruined the first part of the surprise; he is not ruining your master design! 

Once complete, he will admire your work and honestly would be a little afraid to wear it, it would crush him if he damaged your work even though you made it for him to WEAR - the thought of your face seeing he had ripped the outfit just cracked his spirit. But he does and he proceeds to wear it almost all the time. If he isn’t working or going on emergency runs with Ticket, he is in his tent wearing the outfit you made. 

And he will be asking for more.

Pierrot can also be a very trusting person but also a very untrusting person. He trusts you a lot , maybe more than his family because of your kindness. You saved him when no one else would, you believed in good and saw past his appearance. However this falls to you and ONLY you, everyone else he could care less he only cares for you.

Fully believes your kindness is meant for him and only him, whilst he won’t stop you from being kind and helping those around you, he is watching everyone like an assassin looking for a mark. If he sees one person who disrespect you, or takes advantage of your trust or god forbid breaks your trust - there is no holding him back. What happened to the rude customer is a mercy for what he would do to someone who takes advantage of your trust. 

It's no surprise that Pierrot is obsessively protective over you, he has and will kill for you, however he also has an almost childlike sense of wonderment and finds your naive nature and friendliness a welcome change of pace. He more often than not will follow you around like a lost puppy when you are pretty much doing the exact same thing to him. 

Whilst you trust everyone around you and always offer to give them a hand no matter how trivial, Pierrot is only like this with you and despises those who take that kindness away from him.

💚Harlequin💚

Harlequin fully believes you are fucking with him. No way you actually want to be nice to him, but trusting him. Okay where's the camera? You have to be pulling his leg. Wait… you're serious? You trust him… are you crazy? Does he need to call Doctor? Does he need to send out an amber alert?

Even after your relationship begins, he still thinks you're joking. Harles has seen how trusting and friendly you are, that naive nature is very well known to him, and he STILL thinks you're bullshitting him. Every kinda action, every trusting hand you give to him, he doesn’t believe it. He's fooled himself into believing you will leave him behind, that you too will end up despising him.

And yet just like Pierrot, he would kill someone if they took advantage of your trust. The only one who can mock your naivety is him. Although he will outwardly stop you from being nice to others especially if he thinks they don’t deserve your attentiveness.

Deep down, he knows you do care for him and that the trust you hold for him is real, but he just can’t let his walls go down far enough to admit it aloud. So instead he will just watch you from afar and keep that kindness of yours safe.

🖤Doctor🖤

Doctor is someone highly experienced in the department of trust. Despite his tent and medical practice, he values privacy and patient confidentiality above all. Whatever he is told by a patient remains strictly between them. Doctor also appreciates calmer patients as well, not only because they are fascinating but because it means they have a form of trust in him.

So when he learns of just how trusting you are to the point of being naive, he feels almost responsible for you. Protective by nature, he puts your safety before anything - seeing someone taking advantage of your friendly nature and exploiting you for your help, he steps in and deals with the situation for you.

Sometimes it can feel as if he's being a wall between you and a problem. Doctor does not take exploitation kindly, especially to his family, this trusting nature of yours should be given to just those you hold close, not a random stranger in the circus. But don’t get him wrong, he won’t stop you from helping someone with little things such as directions or a question. But if it's someone actively taking advantage of your naivety? Suddenly you have a large plague Doctor standing behind you… menacingly.

Overall, he takes the more protective-do it for you approach to things. Doctor would rather protect your kindness than stop you from helping others. He just might try a new experiment on someone who gets a little too bold though, just maybe… perhaps he can speak to Ticket Taker later?

💙Ticket Taker💙

At first he did NOT believe you were this trusting. Ticket knew you were friendly, it was something he loved about you, never once did you take him or his family for granted and always treated him with kindness - it was a nice change of pace when he first met you. But at first he just thought you were being extremely nice, always helping him with tasks and showing the utmost trust in him despite how standoffish he can be sometimes.

It wasn’t until someone actively tried to steal a bag from you but missed:  and you just thought they tripped over you and apologised and tried to help this stranger up. That was the clicking moment that maybe this naive trusting nature is a little bit of a problem.

Bil will sort of start almost hand holding you in certain situations he won’t fully baby you he knows you well enough to see you are capable. But he also knows that your friendly nature can bite you back. So he wants to make sure he is there in case someone takes advantage of your trusting heart.

Over time he’ll slowly teach you that kindness and trust is not a bad thing, but you have to learn how to differentiate someone who appreciates it and someone who wants to exploit it. Ticket Loves you too much to let your kindness falter over a human arrogance.

💜Jester💜

Jester thinks you are an idiot, and he is honest about this. From day one when he sees how quickly you fall into line - and just how much control he has over your trusting nature, he truly believes you to be one of the biggest idiots he has ever met. Why would you trust him? After all, your first introduction to him is Jester telling a story about how one of his family murdered another member of the family. Not exactly the most trusting atmosphere.

As time went on however, his tone changes, especially once your relationship becomes serious. He no longer values that control over you the same way - Jester still has it, its Jester. But now he views your naive trust as endearing. He almost wishes it was something he still had, reminding him of his early years, distant memories he thought were long forgotten.

He’ll watch you from afar, always knowing what you are doing and where you are, especially on circus grounds. The fools are quite handy in that regard. He makes mental notes of all the people you have helped as well as any tasks you have helped with in the circus, even though he expressly said not to do so. But he secretly loves how much you care for his family.

Overall Jester is an observer, and will instead watch over you and guide you through his own subtle ways - You’ll never know he was doing anything but somehow you find things you had pushed away to help someone else were suddenly finished.

🩷Columbina🩷

Columbina knows this trusting nature all too well, it's what doomed her in the first place. So when she meets you and sees herself in your actions, she can’t help but form an attachment to you.

She always wants to help you no matter who you are helping or what you are doing, she wants to do it with you. Columbina will follow you blindly, so if you let your naivety get the better of you, she's going down with you. And unfortunately she is just as friendly and trusting as you are - though she may be a monster, she does not choose violence over reason like her family. 

You both have each other's backs, you may be trusting at heart but in the end, your true faith lies in each other - perhaps you both need each other to find that middle ground. Not every person will take your kindness to heart, most will exploit something Columbina knows all too well.

I would just like to ask for a romantic hc abt The Freak Circus and how they would react to an artist MC who likes painting portraits of them in different settings, outfits, and styles!

Reading this, i started picturing the MC having a Xavier art shed from Wednesday of their circus partner and it made me giggle.

Pierrot already has enough reasons to love and obsess over you. Just breathing in this man's general direction makes him love drunk. So finding out you are an artist? And you draw him none the less? He is gone, Pierrot.exe has stopped working, On the floor in just a puddle of mushy happiness.

He would have so many questions. Do you have an art room? What's your favourite style of art? Do you like water colours? Can he see some of your art works? Can you draw him? 

If you offer to draw him, or finally give in to his puppy dog eyes after the millionth time of him pleading - Pierrot turns into a damn statue, pose him however you want no matter how uncomfortable that pose is to hold; he will hold it with perfect precision every time. 

Show him your art, just do it because if you don’t he’ll find it anyway. Going through your art with him is one of his favourite things to do with you, he loves listening to you talk about each piece - hearing the passion and devotion you put behind every work. Even the ones you think negatively of or believe you could have done better. Pierrot wants to hear every detail.

He tried to paint you once, it wasn’t actually that bad - he made an absolute mess of your studio but it was actually a really nice gift.

💚Harlequin💚

To begin with Harlequin doesn’t actually take notice of your art. Does he register that you are doing it? Yes, does he give ur work a look over a few times? He does. Will he actually register any of it? Nope. This man's brain is smooth half the time - he can't process more than one thought at a time if he hasn’t thought of it in advance. So if you draw him and don’t tell him, he won’t even register its him on the paper. Just a green speckled cucumber blob to him.

Now if you TELL HIM you are an artist and out right show him to his face that you are drawing him. It's like you gave him glasses and he's seeing the world for the first time. Because now he is invested. In his own way at least. Harles may not be too keen if you ask to draw him outright, he’ll get all fidgety and can't hold a pose to save his life. So you’d need to catch him when he’s focused or working.

Suddenly he's conveniently looking over your shoulder when you are the most focused. Your paint water mysteriously got cleaned during a particularly detailed focused section. When did your chalks get cleaned? And didn’t you have another finished canvas on your wall earlier?

In his own way, Harlequin shows how much he appreciates your work and admires your skills by making things easier without actually telling you he's doing it. But you know. He thinks you don’t but you do. And yes you have caught him stealing ur art straight from your studio. He was like a deer in headlights, just frozen in place holding the evidence before just yeeting himself out the window before u could say anything.

🖤Doctor🖤

Doctor is an interesting case. He didn’t find out you were an artist over time oh no. He figured it out the day you met: The stubborn paint under your nails, the chalk dust on your clothes, the slight discolouration of your skin from cleaning charcoal off. Nothing got past him during that examination. He’ll tell you he saw the creative sparkle in your eye if you ask him how he knew. 

Bird man has been waiting since day one to see your work, so the day you finally offer to show him your studio and work, he is more than eager to follow. Doctor will listen and examine every art work in the most calculated way possible. Arms folded behind his back, mask tiled to the side staring at one piece after another. Moving alone each one as you talk like a professional art inspector.

Don’t worry he isn’t actually judging, Doctor is just heavily invested in deciding which one is his favourite that it comes off as him judging the work. He never actually ends up deciding. If you have any work for him though? That's when he’ll finally say something and that something is the word “interesting” which translates to: “you love me ;-; you really love me”

Doctor is the most caring when it comes to handling your supplies and work, he treats them like his surgical instruments - with the utmost care. These are your life's work, he wouldn’t expect you to start throwing his work around so why would he disrespect yours? He’ll restock your supplies when you are low, he will help move canvas around, clean up any unwanted mess. He understands creative chaos so won’t touch any of that mess, only what you ask him to.

💙Ticket Taker💙

This is Ticket, you think he doesn’t already know you're an artist? Bil is the most interested when it comes to you being an artist, but not in the same way as the others. In fact he would much rather know about the reasoning behind each piece than ogling and admiring the details.

Ticket finds value in the finer things but he also has a soft spot for history and facts. He could listen to you talk about your work and how they came to be for hours. Whilst he isn’t the most intrigued watching you work - he’ll often work with you creative flowing in the corner as you talk to him about your pieces. 

You have NEVER had to ask this man to get you supplies, it's like he can read your mind. Paintbrushes cleaned and organised, fresh charcoal, watercolours are filled, chalks decontaminated. Bil has fixed your tools before, a screw loose in the easel, fixing a bent leg on your stool. Whatever keeps you in that creative flow. Sometimes you wonder how he finds that time.

He HATES it if you paint him, especially without asking him. Is he flattered? Yes, he is! You put work into this. But he does not like the idea of his mask being immortalised. Bil won’t make you toss or destroy the work though - he’ll just ask no one but him, gets to see it.

Sometimes when he’s working with Jester, he’ll tell him about some of your works. It actually becomes a common topic between the two sometimes you’ll get Bil requesting something on Jesters behalf.

💜Jester💜

If Bil knows, Jester knows. The definition of art critique, Jester is judging you after every brush stroke. Looking over your shoulder, silently observing you from his various lounging spots. It can be uncomfortable but it's his way of not scaring you off. Jester is a lover of all things art, he is a performer darling a PERFORMER! And he doesn’t just love the stage, he loves all forms of art, music, acting, puppeteer, painting the works.

Sometimes he can be very judgemental when you ask him for criticism. He will give harsh unfiltered criticism and sometimes they hurt. Flick some paint at him or throw one of your charcoals at him. He won’t take it too personally.

On the opposite note, on the works you have finished, he is an admirer, he’ll criticise whilst you work because it's something you can use and get value out of. But once you finish, he becomes an observer again silently scanning your work over a few times. 

Jester has one of two reactions to you drawing him. 1) You didn’t ask him and wanted to surprise him- now you are faced with his disapproving stare. 2) You ask to paint him and he enters fashion model mode. Jester is much like Bil in which hes would rather be asked than just have a painting of him thrusted in his face.

Whilst he isn’t the best at complimenting, his eyes and body language say enough for him when he's watching you work. Don’t expect him to restock your supplies though. He’ll instinctively make notes of what you need, but won’t get it himself, man's busy enough as it is.

🩷Columbina🩷

Oh boy, when she finds out you are an artist, She is OVER the moon! Columbina is working right alongside you. I can see her as someone who loves painting her feelings. She has so many bottled away so this is her way of letting them out. Through art darlings.

She loves doing those art challenges with you. The swapping every so many minutes, blindfolded the works if you find one she wants to do! Her favourite one to do is the unique style where you both draw the same thing in your own styles and compare, she loves the differences you both share whilst still having the same passion.

If you have your work displayed, she has stars and sparkles in her eyes as she gleefully looks over each piece asking a million questions or telling you how amazing your work and you are. 

Stocking supplies, she wants to come! Columbina likes to come with you whenever you go for supply runs. She likes looking at all the cute pens art stores sell, she has so many but never uses them. But you don’t mind her using one of your pots to store them in. I mean they are pretty cute.

TFC Casts Love Language

Had this one of the back burner a while now, figured it would be a nice little hello for all of my lovely ducklings! Gotta admit i had a lot of back and forths on some of these ;-; Jester is an annoying bish to write for. Love you all kisses

Giving: Everything

It's Pierrot, what do you want from me? He constantly whispers to you, is always wanting to give you things, he is practically your servant if you ask him to do something he’ll do it. If you want to hold his hand just rip his arm off and keep it so you never have to let go! Pierrot will do everything  and anything for you, even to an unhealthy degree Hell he even murdered someone for you so who's to say he can’t spontaneously gift you a rock or something? So I genuinely can’t pick a single Love language he would go for. 

Receiving: Words of Affirmation

I thought about physical touch for a while but then when I went back through the game to refresh… Word of Affirmation just made more sense. Pierrot lives for your validation - when you tell him he did something good or are just there to sooth him with your voice, it does something to him. Pierrot will actively seek you out for validation after the shows or look for you when he's having a rough day. Your kindness and words are what got him to obsess over you in the first place. So tell him you love him and he did a good job, you’ll make him the happiest monster in the circus.

💚Harlequin💚

Giving: Gift Giving

Harles was a hard one to pin down but I settled on Gift giving, after all he makes his own puppets so it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if he also made small trinkets or keepsakes. He knows he can be difficult and that his words can give the wrong impression sometimes, so a gift is his way of telling you what he means whether it's a conversation starter, an I'm sorry or an I love you. Harles much prefers giving you something you can keep then words that could be misinterpreted or an action that can easily be overlooked. Plus he cannot clean at all, Mop who's that?

Receiving: Physical Touch / Words of Affirmation

Harles isn’t particularly picky early on in the relationship, just being around you and being able to tease you is good enough, but it's when you start teasing or complimenting him back that does something to him. Hearing you tell him you trust him or telling him how good his performances were just anything and he's thinking about it all day. LATER in the relationship once he's grown to fully trust you though, physical touch becomes a need from him. He needs you to hold his hand, to rub his arm to initiate a hug with him all the time. I've mentioned before that he isn’t the one to initiate even late in the relationship, so knowing you trust him enough to do it for him, that's something special.

Giving: Physical Touch / Acts of Service

Doctor’s entire job is to touch you, not in a weird way but he is a Doctor, clues in the name: he ‘examines’ people a lot. So naturally he has an instinct to touch you. More often than not he usually has his hand on your lower back, or when he walks past you he'll run his hand over your shoulders when passing. Always reaching for you, wanting you in his arms. But he also knows the value of acts - he is the circus janitor when it comes to ‘rowdy guests’ so he is no stranger to doing the heavy lifting. If you need something done he is more than happy to do it. Bonus: He brings you shiny things. I will not elaborate.

Receiving: Acts of Service / Quality Time

Sometimes he needs a break from doing all the lifting though, so if you take some of the weight off his shoulders? he is falling deeper in love with you than he already is. Helping him sterilise his work space, clean off his apron, help organise his records: The little things. But in general he can focus so much better if you’re just in his line of vision, he has many fond memories of conversation you both have shared just being in each other's company. Throw on some metal music and he is a very happy bird.

💙Ticket Taker💙

Giving: Quality Time

Ticket is a busy man, he knows it, we know it, you know it. So when he finds time to spare he will always spend it with you. Work is banned during these times, if you mention the circus and his work he is shutting that conversation down and is asking something else. He wants to make memories with you, spend time with you, make you happy - not talk about payroll and circus numbers. Bil does have a soft spot for sitting in silence with you, it's a comforting silence but your presence is enough to keep him focused. It's those moments that make him feel as if he's breathing for the first time.

Receiving: Acts of Service / Words of Affirmation

In a weird way, I view Bil as one of the loneliest members of the circus. He may be quite close  to Doctor and Jester but he has so much more work to do than the others as he runs all the behind the scenes stuff. He is also the ring master, greeting every guest and wearing himself down to the bone on the daily. Take some of the work from him, give him that well needed break, tell him it's okay to take a moment to himself. Ticket can work himself so hard he forgets what's going on around him. He needs that hand to hold sometimes, so if that hand is yours and it's telling him to go to bed and rest then he will. Giving: Gift Giving

It's Jester, he loves to be praised and adored, even if he loathes the humans doing it. But he also loves meaningful things - he appreciates that hard labour and dedication people give to their crafts. Jester notices every little thing, every facial expression, change in body language - so he will take notice of  the details in gifts you make for him or the thought behind something you have bought for him. He values your taste and appreciates anything you give him, hand made or not- if it was a gift from you, he treasures it, even if in the moment he didn’t seem like he was interested.

Receiving: Gift Giving

He is very similar to Bil when it comes to being Busy, whilst he isn’t as busy as Ticket, he still has his hands full babying Harlequin and Pierrot or making sure Doctor doesn't accidentally kill a patient he wasn’t supposed to. Unlike Ticket though, he shows his love through gifts of his own. You could argue Quality time but he gives the perfect amount of his time to everyone, that's nothing special. It's the gifts and the true attention that he gives you that's special. Jester puts thought into what he wants to present to you - He doesn’t do that with the others.

Columbina is a sweet girl and she loves doing things for other people. She wants to be helpful, especially to the one she loves. Let her clean up for you, make your breakfast, help clean up the home. Columbina is so used to being asked to do things and help that it's second nature to her, besides sometimes being about to take something off your plate and see the smile on your face brings light to her day.

Receiving: Physical Touch

She has such a soft spot for your touch, to her it feels as if she was being touched by an angel (get it). Columbina gets heart eyes if you hold her hand or put your head on her shoulder, it makes her feel so safe, a feeling she hasn’t had in a very long time. Has a soft spot for shoulder massages too, there is something so relaxing of you rubbing the tension away and knowing she can relax completely with you.

Aw you don't have to worry about me, i know i have not posted in a good while. I have had a lot going on all at once, life decided it was going to throw a temper tantrum the moment i started getting a writers flow. I got ill, i have had a lot of personal stuff going on that have been keeping me very busy.

Whilst i have managed to get some work done on my book - its now caused me to have the worst case of writers block I've ever had. I am trying to get back into the flow of things and provide some okay writings but i just have not had the time to do so.

My personal life at the moment is demanding my attention, as much as i love to write for all of you. My family and friends come first. When i find the time i will be writing and finished requests i have so many in my drafts that are near completion.

As of writing this i am CLOSING my inbox just to allow me time to catch up, they will be reopened once i have thinned out the load, and my DM's are open still if you really have a request itching the back of your mind. Please please be patient - i have not forgotten about any requests and i do fully intent to answer ALL of them. Just please be patient with me.

(i find the idea funny especially if hybrid mc had to eat raw meat to thrive, just imagining mc hunkered down in a dark corner of the circus devouring some raw steak or something lol)

At first he didn’t fully understand. Ur a Hybrid? So you’re like him? But still different? It takes him a moment to sort of connect the dots in his head.

Honestly he did not figure it out on his own, he saw the signs yes, the way you would always wear new gloves because your old ones had holes where your claws had regrown. How you always wore hats or masks to cover the small feathers on your face. Long coats and trousers. The large array of nail clippers, the slight squawk in your voice when you get excited. The signs were all there! He just didn’t put 2 and 2 together on his own.

Once he does know though? He feels REALLLLLLLLYYYYY bad. To him, you are the definition of perfection, a divine being, his stained hands were blessed with the honour of calling his own. So to know you too have suffered in cages, ridiculed and beaten. Played like a puppet for someone else's amusement just like he was. It breaks him on a level he didn’t know existed.

He’ll be much more open to you about his own monstrous features. A way of showing you can be yourself around him.

Pierrot will start doing little care routines for you. He’ll help with preening your feathers, you’ll help keep his horns clean and shiny. He’ll help you manage your claws, you’ll help him with his disguise. And I don't think I need to tell you what happens if some brave soul decides to try something.

💚Harlequin💚

He knew, he knew immediately. The signs, he knows those signs all too well.

He's one of the few in the circus to click in an instant. He's had to hide his features a lot more than the rest of his family, only trumped by Doctor. There are times where his tentacles get out of control and he just can't hide them any longer. So he understands, and as much as he denies caring, he will help you in every way he can.

He'll make constant flirtatious comments about how endearing your feathers are or how alluring your claws are when matched with his. But its always said with a touch of hesitation. Harlequin can play a human like a fiddle, but not you, you’re like him but yet so different. It scares him knowing how easily he could scare you away with one wrong word.

Whilst he isn’t as care focused as Pierrot, Harles will always defend you, he’s had to do enough of that for himself already. You’ll never be caged with him by your side. Although you’ll also never be safe from the amount of bird puns he’ll throw your way. And they will be at the most random of times. Shopping? Pun, Going to bed? Pun. Just said a pun? Have another one. And they always end up flirty to? How can u make a bird pun flirty? Idk but he did it.

🖤Doctor🖤

Doctor is an interesting case. He will either pick up on you being a hybrid instantly, or he won’t figure out for the longest time. It all depends on how well you hide yourself. One examination is all it takes for him to figure you out. Unless you want him to know of course, he is a fellow avian after all.

He’s the easiest to be around when it comes to hiding your features. Because he straight up doesn’t let you. When it's just the two of you, he wants you to be authentically you. No hiding anything from him. 

Doctor is extremely protective over you. Of his family, he suffered the worst of it being an Avian he was the easiest to poke and proud beside Columbina. So if someone tried that with you? The way they did with him? Even in the past, he will deal with it. After all he is the one who, cleans up messes.

He’s most fascinated by your feathers, preening is a delicate matter to him and he treats it almost like a ritual, given how much of a health nut he can be when it comes to his family. Especially with the person he loves. If you let him Preen your feathers for you, Doctor will melt inside, the stoic brick wall will remain outside, but inside he's doing a happy lil bird dance.

Once he actually made a nest for you. An actual nest. He physically went out into the woods. Found the biggest sticks he could find. Took them BACK to his tent, and made a nest. He even decorated it with lights and pillows. He was so proud of himself. And if you don’t use it? He will!

💙Ticket Taker💙

Ticket picks up on your monstrous side the day he first saw you. Much like Harles he knew immediately. He was handing out pink tickets that day but for you…? No you were special, perhaps his ticket would do.

Bil got lucky with his monstrous side, and was gifted with the ability to completely blend in among humans. But he is also gifted with the art of charisma and is unbelievably charming when he wants to be. He is very aware he’s the only one with this gift in his family. And now also you. He understands why you hide. However he cannot understand why you would hide from him.

Whilst he is a strict man, he also knows the toll being different takes on someone, especially someone like you or him. You both aren't just different, you are feared for being something people don’t understand. Caged and mocked, beaten and left like cattle all because you have feathers or horns or a tail. So when you’re having a bad day and those memories flood back he will be patient and he will understand you.

Continuing on with his strict side, he has a strong issue if you don’t take care of your hybrid side, if you miss preening or you miss a claw polish. Bil will be ON TOP of it and he will drag you to that bowl and he will give you a damn claw manicure himself if he has to.

If you tell him it's fine? He will cover your mouth with his finger and tell you in the calmest voice - to sit down, be quiet and let him take care of you.

💜Jester💜

Jester is the least concerned with your hybrid side, in fact he didn’t even notice at first. He thought you were just a guest in cosplay, he sees a few of those on the daily so thought nothing of it. Until a few visits go by and he spots you fidgeting with your gloves and notices your claws popped. He’ll click then. 

He is surprisingly curious about you, his kind is unfamiliar with a hybrid - at first he's unaware if you are a danger or simply lost. But over time he accepts you as part of his family and allows you to hold a small part of his heart.

Don’t expect him to be as dotting as someone like Doctor or Pierrot, no that's not his style. He cares for you and gives you just the right amount of care - but he won’t want you to rely on him for everything. You made it this far on your own, now you have someone to hold the ladder whilst you climb.

This man is the definition of Diva, he loves attention and center stage and he is not one for sharing the spotlight. But he knows when it's time for the curtain. So if he cares for you and helps with your hybrid needs - he expects the same in return and he will be a snarky ass about it to. He loves you though so don’t let that smug grin get to you.

🩷Columbina🩷

Oh sweet Columbina, she is extremely clueless at first. She lets her kindness blind her and she honestly just treats you like her family because you are nice to her. The claws, feathers, everything goes completely over her head. 

You will literally have to grab her by the shoulders and tell her what you are for her to have that little lightbulb moment. And if you don't Harlequin will because her cluelessness of what you are, bothers him. He can’t be making these jokes and they go flying over her head.

But she is the most supportive of the group by far, she is with you through everything. Columbina will listen to every story and will hold your hand when it seems too much for you. She’ll talk to you, she’ll listen as you have done for her so many times. You were her rock through all this, now let her be yours. 

Does not know the first thing about preening u tell her about it and she just lizard blinks at you. Pretends to know, she does not. Columbina WILL be ask Doctor what that is because she is too embarrassed to ask you after pretending to know what it means. And even then. No clue. Shining your claws though? THAT she can do.

Happy Friday (and Easter, if you celebrate)! If you don’t mind, what do you think about a TFC characters x an MC that fosters kittens (think Kitten Lady or Flatbush Cats on YouTube)? Maybe they can teach the monsters how to get kittens to like them, since I don’t think animals like them normally in canon; similar process to taming a feral kitten.

I have two little fluff balls of my own. I love my cats they are my babies so seeing this, ofc i can do this for you darling! I hope you don't mind its more on the shorter end than my usual work.

❤Pierrot❤

Pierrot would be the most upset but most attached when it comes to these kittens. They love you, hate him. All animals hate him and his family. That's one of the curses of being a monster. But he wants these kittens to like him or at least tolerate him so badly that he just lets them tear his legs apart in a desperate attempt to pet and love them.

And for one of them it actually works! A calico, the others still despise him but for some odd reason, this small little calico kitten absolutely adores him. Little guy never hisses or scratches him, snuggles up all the time when Pierrot is home, will meow its little head off at the door if he leaves. Will only play if it's with Pierrot. 

It makes him cry the first time the little Calico curls up on his lap and starts to purr, he doesn’t know what's happening or why but he knows this is what peace feels like. The others still hate him though, but he has his little kitten fur ball so he's happy.

The day someone adopts the calico though… He loves that kitten so badly that he’ll react in one of two ways. 1: He’ll beg and plead with you not to let them have it and let him keep it instead 2:Murder actual murder, not the kitten. If he can tell these are good people, he’ll be a bit more willing to let the kitten go but he will be the biggest sad puddle of salt for the next month.

💚Harlequin💚

Harlequin doesn’t like animals and they don’t like him. Simple

But for some reason, no matter how much these kittens hiss and scratch at him, he just lets them? He’ll throw in a snarky remark about how pitiful they are with their small bodies and tiny claws. But he never actually stops them. There's this one in particular, a small tuxedo kitten that despises him with a passion.

Every single time Harlequin is around this kitten will sit and stare straight through his soul like batman. Doesn’t growl, hiss nothing just sits there… staring… menacingly! So he stares back. You have walked in on many stares down between these two. It's a competition and Harlequin is determined to win.

When the time for the little tuxedo kitten to go off to a new home. Harlequin is actually upset. You won’t know he's upset but deep down he really is. Suddenly winning this stare off doesn’t seem worth it.

🖤Doctor🖤

Doctor is a weird one. Oddly enough the kittens don’t scratch or hiss at him they just straight up avoid him. they are petrified of him and won’t come out if he's around. 

If you ever need to feed them, give them flea treatments, even playing! He has to leave the room for them to come out again or you have to play a game of kitten chase to find where the one you need went. Luckily most of the time they stay in the room designated to them, but there is an escape artist or 2.

But then there were these two black kittens… that never left him alone. Ever. They followed him everywhere. One of the kittens loved to climb up the back of his cape and hang there for a minute before scurrying to his shoulder to just chill there. The other would meow aggressively at him until he picked it up to which it would then just hold onto his arm with all 4 sets of claws and not move. Doctor just lets them, he can’t even feel their claws so half the time he doesn’t even realise the one on his cape is there.

These 2 did get adopted! By him. He adopted them. He protects these kittens with his life. They are his babies and they are in his nest now.

💙Ticket Taker💙

Bil and the kitten struggle. They hate him so damn much. probably more than the bat cat hats harlequin. The problem is all of them hate him.

He can never work when he comes over because he just gets stared at by these kittens and his legs get absolutely destroyed by their claws, and unlike the others he feels it the worst since his uniform is thinner than his family's. It drives him mad so he tends to grab them by the scruff of the neck just like mama cat would do.

One kitten in particular, a ginger nugget, just loves to climb up his side like a tree and whack his hat aggressively, bite his hair or lie on his work so he can’t work. If he moves this little kitten it will come right back like a boomerang. He has found that this ginger fluff ball is easily distracted by feathers so he just works one handed and plays with this kitten using the other. 

This becomes such a routine for him that he actually forgets the other kittens are currently clawing his legs to shreds.

He actually isn’t sad to see any of these kittens go. To him it's just them moving on much as his family have done. He totally doesn't do background checks on every family that comes nope he isn’t doing that. Don’t ask him what the suspicious cat shaped lump in his suit is either, it's always been there.

💜Jester💜

No, just no. Jester hates animals more than anyone. He's thankful all the birds just ignore the circus and the rats will scurry away the moment they see him.

These kittens are no exception. No matter how much you love them he will not. He tolerates their presence and they tolerate him. It's a mutual understanding. Much like Doctor he also never gets scratched or hissed at. The odd growl but nothing major. Unlike Doctor , it's not because they are scared of him, it's just because they are ignoring him. He ignores them, they ignore him.

One in particular though a little cloud puff loves to play with the bells on his head piece. It’s very annoying to him because he can’t get them to stop. Jester can’t speak kitten! And this little white menace can’t understand him either. It just wants to play. However, it does give him memories of his past seeing the little baby monsters playing with silly things that eventually he’ll let it go and will just put up with it.

When you tell him one of the kittens has been adopted, he's very happy for you, sometimes he’ll even be around for the handover, he will have the smuggest grin on his face because one of those devil spawns is going away but shhhh. He secretly likes them. (he is just like my dad in that case, hates animals except our cats. Man i fucking love my dad)

🩷Columbina🩷

Columbina is interesting… Funnily enough she's a mix of Pierrot and Doctor, she wants them to love her so badly but she won’t push it and will let them come to her.

Lucky for her, she is the easiest for the Kittens to bond to. She’s still a monster but her more calming nature makes the kittens more attracted to her than the others in her family. Columbina gets scratched much less than the others, and she's only been hissed at once or twice during her first time meeting the kittens. Other than that, they are surprisingly chill around her.

Sometimes they run from her, other times they approach with caution but overall Columbina can freely go around without being nervous ones gonna go for her throat. There is no one kitten that likes her or hates her more than the others, they all equally like her and are weary of her. On rare occasions though, one little fur ball will be brave enough to sit on her lap for cuddles. It's rare though but it happens.

Columbina does get a tad bit sad when one gets adopted but she's also really really happy because these kittens are being given a new life, a fresh start and she hopes it's a good start. She trusts your judgement so she's always happy to send one off to a new family.

TFC: Cast as Parents

How would our cast be as parents? Who are the strict parents and who's a bit more relaxed?

Haaaaaa… where to start with Pierrot. How many kids he wants… uhhhhhh were not going to go there.

Pierrot would be an extremely hands on father, he would want to be there for everything. This man is never missing an event ever. The circus can do without him for a day or two. He will have pom poms to aggressively wave in the crowd since he can’t speak in public. Every event and achievement will feel so special to his kids even if it is a little embarrassing to have a 6ft 7 clown waving bright red and gold pompoms like a mad man.

He will spoil his children rotten if allowed. When he thinks his kids have done something to deserve a reward, which is a lot. he will get them something they want no questions asked! No weapons though. That's for grown ups!

Pierrot is already a rather emotional creature. His nervousness can cause him to react in unnatural ways to situations. And this also plays into his parenting skills. Whilst he is a great parent… he cannot discipline for nothing! He gets way into his head and if his kid starts to cry he will start to cry if his kids yell, he’ll yell and that makes it worse. 

Unfortunately Pierrot has quite a strong fear of his kids looking like him. He wants his kids to look basically the exact opposite because in his mind that will stop them from turning into him and making the same mistakes he did. After everything he’s done, the people he’s killed, families broken, he refuses to let his children walk that same path.

Will teach his kids how to cook. He has learnt cooking is the perfect way to someone's heart and makes a very good impression! so once old enough to NOT set the house on fire, he’ll teach them how to cook! Not baking though.. He will burn the house down.

He will dress up for his kids. He’ll throw on a pink princess dress over his uniform, he’ll dress up as a tree, let them put make-up on his mask. Whatever he can do to play the part!

He’ll also watch a lot of TV with them. As I mentioned in a previous post, I fully see Pierrot as a cartoon lover. This will 100% pass on to his kids. Ben 10 is a staple in this household. Steven Universe is another that's in rotation. There is a lot in his cartoon rotation when he's with his kids. Winx, Paw patrol, My Little Pony, Bluey, Star VS The Forces of evil, Batman the Animated series for some reason.

💚Harlequin💚

Would he even have kids? If he did it would be maybe 1, two at most.

Imma say this now, Harles is not a very hands on parent in the slightest. Will he be present, yes he will be. Is he always going to be there? unfortunately not. He will not abandon god no he loves his kid! But he does throw himself into his craft whenever he’s stressed so he can become distant at times. He’ll make up for it later.

Harles doesn’t quite understand the do’s and don’t of parenting. He will actively swear in front of his kid as if it's second nature. And will call them rather harsh names to call a kid. Brat gets thrown out a lot, Harlequin then gets a shoe thrown at the back of his head.

If his kid starts throwing a tantrum, he is picking them up like a sack of potatoes and carrying them around till they tier themselves out.

Surprisingly enough he is quite good at enhancing his kids creative side. Due to his act being a variety show, he tends to change up what he does. He’ll have his kid join him in creating puppets and marionettes or he’ll get his kids input on what he should do for his next show.

Harles may not be a hands-on parent but he is the type of parent to throw hands much like Jester he is not afraid to kick a kid. Or at least the parent. But unlike Jester he actually will do it. No one but him gets to make fun of his kid!

Surprisingly enough, Harlequin is great at bedtime, it's one of the only times he will fully be involved and relaxed. It's a mystery how but he never fails to get his kid to bath and brush their teeth. It's honestly scary how consistent he can get that routine. 

Now he won’t read to them, but he will tell an old story from his past to give his kid something to remember him by, in case maybe one day he isn’t around anymore. That way his child will always have that small piece of him. Even if it's just an embarrassing story.

🖤Doctor🖤

Doctor as a dad… Oh boy. This man over analyses and over explains every tiny little thing already, so having kids that don’t know the difference between their right foot and their left foot? He is in for one hell of a ride.

I can fully see Doctor being a girl dad, he would probably have 3 kids max. He would think about more, but 3 is his golden number so he would prefer to stay there or lower. If he had 3 kids I can see one or 2 having his calm manner and intellect and the third just being the absolute opposite.

He will remember every detail about his kids' birth, from how far apart the contractions were; to each individual time frame where something important happened. He’ll keep notes mentally and physically of what happened, if there were any complications, the type of birth, any afterbirth notes etcetera. 

Health and cleanliness is never going to be a problem in his house. He knows the difference between a kids playtime mess and an actual mess, and he’ll make sure his kids have an act for cleaning up after themselves. It takes some time though.

Doctor can be surprisingly strict, id say second to most strict beside Ticket Taker. But he is also very rewarding to his kids. He recognises true effort and accomplishment and wants his kids to feel valued when they do something exceptional. 

When it comes to his children's education, he is the most involved - preferring to teach them himself. Doctor is a highly intelligent man however he underestimated the difficulty of teaching a child. Whilst he will get the information through to them, he may be driving his head through a wall by the time that happens. 

Science to absolutely no one's surprise is his favourite subject to teach. Math is another after all science and math go hand in hand. And ofc he wants to make sure his children can read and write. But he will also have a fondness for agriculture and music lessons. If his kids find a passion they really like he will also attempt to help them there as well.

He never raises his voice, ever. He is calculated and controlled with everything he does, that includes discipline - If his kids fight with each other a lot, yell or overall are very rowdy and uncontrolled, he will defuse the situation as if he's done it a thousand times. Most people don’t even realise he's a first time dad. He's that good.

When it comes to taking his kids out, he is a leash parent, as a child he himself had a habit of wandering away from his parents or group. that didn't exactly end well for him so he uses this method he once saw a human use to keep them close by. This also stops his kids from biting people. He is unsure where they learned that from.

💙Ticket Taker💙

Ticket Taker is the hardest to pin down when it comes to Parenting. I can see him wanting only 1 kid, perhaps 2. But no more.

He would be both strict but also gentle. Whilst Bil has a temper, he won’t snap for unnecessary reasons and will often keep his voice low when disciplining his child, it's only if he’s pushed way past his breaking point will he yell, and even then it's nowhere near how aggressive he can actually get when angry. It's a side of him he will keep to himself. 

Bil may be a very articulate man, and a gentleman at heart and believe me he will enrich these qualities into his child. But he also wishes to keep their wonderment and imagination. He lost his when he was only young. He will never allow that same fate to befall his child.

Ticket is also one of the few to actually let his kids be around the circus. he would have his kids stand with him at the entrance. He learns that adults can be much more reasonable with a child present.

He’ll read fantasy stories to his child before bed, or he will relay a fond memory of his. He will roleplay the characters if his child wants to, anything to keep that imagination and innocence alive.

The type of parent to teach life skills before anything else. His kid may not be able to know the difference between a lion and a tiger but dammit this kid would be one hell of an accountant. (okay his kid would know the difference but you get the idea)

Although I could also see Bil being rather reserved when it comes to teaching, wanting his child to learn from mistakes over spoken lessons and books. So really it depends what he's teaching and why.

💜Jester💜

Jester is a one kid kinda parent. He's already got 2 unruly kids and one feral green goblin, Poor Ticket takers losing all his hair dealing with them, So Jester is fine with just the one.

He will keep his child as far away from human culture as he can. Only teaching him the vitally important stuff, things that will protect his child from the same fate he and his family suffered. No humans will come near his baby so long as he is around.

Upholding an image is vitally important to ester, and he expects his child to do the same, so at a very young age, Jester will teach his child etiquette, manners and the art of performance essentially a mini version of him. A clone even at this point. He would be so focused on teaching his child life skills that he can sometimes forget that's still a child, a baby.

If his child happens to have a talent in the circus he will go heavily into refining their skills to complete perfection much like himself.

But when he does have his gentle moments, it's often around nap time or dinner time. Can he be strict regarding food? Yes, he's the kind of parent to not let you leave the table till your plate is completely clean, however, he is also very understanding and will attempt to make eating this his child may not like, fun, the air plane trick never fails. He has even eaten things he himself doesn’t like just so his child will.

Bed time though, a side of Jester comes out he thought died years ago. It's in these moments he realises just how small his child really is and how delicate and precious they are to him. So he reads to them, sings to them, cuddles them whatever he needs to do to know his baby is sleeping peacefully and happily.

He is not afraid to kick another child if they bully his kid. Doctor has held Jester back a few times from going full Pierrot on a random kid or teenager in the circus because they called his child a freak.  ‘I just wanna talk to them’ ‘Why do you have a shotgun!?’ ‘I just wanna talk to them’  Will he actually do this, no, it would ruin his entire image. inside he is thinking about it though.

In all honesty I can't picture her having kids. I really can’t. HOWEVER would she be the cool aunt everyone goes to for babysitting? You’re goddamne right!

So taking THAT into consideration, Bedtime, out the damn window. (unless it's Bil’s kid… bedtime comes right back through that window and is heavily enforced) She does have her limits of how long the can stay up for, but she is much more lenient overall, letting them stay up to finish a movie or book, or a game of hide and seek.

She's also the one the kids go to when voicing grievances or problems, Columbina is great at helping these kids understand their feelings and teaches them communication. She is also the one that teaches them the art of drawing on walls. Jester did not approve of that one.

Baking is something she thoroughly enjoys doing with these kids, many times she's baked cupcakes and had the kids decorate them as a fun activity to do together. Pierrot gets especially happy to receive one of these cupcakes and oftentimes will attempt to do the same thing.

Columbina gets in trouble with Harlequin a lot because she may or may not have introduced his kid to the wonderful world… of air horns. Have fun with that one dear.

Often takes the kids on nature walks, letting them play outside, get dirty, scrap a knee and experience the wonder of being a kid. A luxury she was deprived of. Columbina shows them the world of harmony and nature, teaches them balance. Doctor is especially pleased when his child comes home talking about a flower they saw.

Hello my Little Ducklings!

I have recovered from my Illness and I'm ready to write again! I have so many requests and i love all of them! I've been seeing them and making notes for them in my time of rest. Thank you all for the love and support you have been giving my work. I really didn't think any of my stuff would be liked, but to know that so many of you have actually enjoyed what i do. It warms this cold heart of mine.

SO, Over the next few days, i will be diving head first into writing as many requests out as i can, and maybe throw in a few I've had jumping around my mess of a brain until writers block hits me so hard i get Whiplash. Whilst i do not have a particular time frame of how often i'll be uploading - my work will always be out between 00:00-01:00 BST So for any stalkers of my page out there (if any lol), go nuts XD

I must ask, how did you obtain my hair, and 2 may I have some of that back? My hair is my favourite part of me Its Blue well Cyan gradient... into blue but Same thing! Though Question, Does it taste like Blueberry, or is it more a Blue raspberry slushie situation? Would that even work... does hair dye have flavour aside from bleach?

Columbina Romantic Headcannons

WARNINGS: Columbina being the cutests lil muffin / The Freak Circus is for 18+ only, Neko has expressed this multiple times please respect Neko's wishes and go away if you are under the age of 18.

Pierrot / Harlequin / Doctor / Ticket Taker / Jester

Columbina is very easily flustered, she can say the sweetest things to you and make you feel like the only person in the world that matters. But if you compliment her, she is just a puddle of happiness and nervousness, her brain will short circuit and she’ll stumble over whatever she was gonna say and just melt.

Columbina is the most understanding of the circus. If you ever have a problem, want someone to just vent to, or need someone to lean on in a moment of silence. She is there with open arms waiting for you. Even if you don’t tell her what's wrong she will stay with you still you shoo her away.

She can be quite clingy, not in an overly aggressive way, but she does have a tendency to worry a lot about basically everything. So sometimes if you need to leave she can have a tendency to want to go with you, or attempt to convince you to stay longer. Columbina is so scared of losing you that the thought of letting you go is scary to her.

Insecurity is a big problem for her, with everything she went through, the trauma and scars that never fully healed - sometimes those demons can creep up at the worst moments, even for monsters. So she understands if you have those dark moments where you don’t feel good enough, in those moments she wants you to know just how much she loves you and how much she adores everything about you. Very similar to Pierrot in that way.

She can be a very emotional person, she just cares about everyone so much especially you that if you’re upset, she's upset; if you’re frustrated , she's frustrated. 

Despite being a very sweet person, she can read someone for filth! If she was on Drag Race, the reading challenge would be hers. And she lovvvvesss going back and forth with you throwing harmless shade about the other circus members, each other, random people. No one is safe. 

Fashion diva, I can definitely see her and Ticket bonding over clothes and period fashions, and I know she will 100% take that same energy with you. Matching outfits is something she loves, costumes, elegance, comfort the works, she loves to just dress herself up and you up as well.

Professional Window shopper, if you don’t like shopping you are not gonna like Columbina. The girl unfortunately does fall into the stereotype of the shopping girl, and she will drag you on her days off to every mall, and market she can find. Sometimes it's just to walk with you and browse, other times it's spending an hour staring at one section of merch going back and forth over the same point.

When it comes to holding hands, she's a pinkie locker, sometimes she gets nervous about her claws, so linking pinkies is a nice little way to still be with you but also not be self-conscious. However she also is an arm-linker like Doctor, she loves to hook her arm into yours and walk together like two best friends from Bridgerton. 

Columbina will always want to hear your opinion, even if it's something simple, she wants you to have a voice, because she didn’t always get hers. If you have an opinion, she’ll wanna know.

Movie marathons are something she adores doing with you. Lord of The rings was her favourite, she loved the fantasy, the story, the characters it was enchanting to her the creativity of humans amazes her. Sometimes after she wraps up a performance, she’ll come to you and ask what you’re watching together next. Columbina will also attempt to predict things so sometimes you do have to just calm her down before she spoils the entire film for herself.

Once she got Harlequin to sit with you and watch the ENTIRE Classic Barbie Movie series. Was it against his will? Yes, was it the funniest thing to see him get fully invested in Preminger during a Princess Pauper? Also yes. You two spoke about it for months, Columbina will never let him forget. P.S: She also told Pierrot who also makes sure Harle’s won’t forget his unconventional love for Preminger. (I was watching Barbie a Princess and a Pauper whilst writing this okay, its the best one shut up, judge me later)
