There’s this wonderfully tragic childlike glee to the hitchhiker and the way he starts trying to connect with the microbus crew with all his creepy anecdotes and discussion

I get the sense that this is the only way he really knows how to communicate with people - like anything remotely positive in his life has some tangential connection to violence
