Hi there! I create quiet, nostalgic interactive websites using low-poly 3D models. The scenes are based on real places in Japan, or imaginative takes on them — all inspired by places I've actually visited and experiences I've lived.

I sometimes refer to this approach as “ambiencism” — creating spaces shaped more by atmosphere, absence, and presence than direct storytelling.

In our endless pursuit of efficiency and convenience, I feel like the modern internet can sometimes leave us a little tired.

Most websites are optimized to keep us from getting lost, gently telling us where to look and what to do next. But while their usability as tools has improved, they have all started to look somewhat identical, sharing the same uniform face.

I want to bring back, even just a little, that free and lively atmosphere that once existed in the corners of the internet. A time when, even if they weren’t perfectly polished, everyone expressed their own tastes and personality to the fullest, clumsily building their own little castles.

It was a peaceful space where we weren’t constantly rushed by a flood of information—a place visited only by those who genuinely wanted to peek into that world.

A place of greater freedom, where nothing is forced upon anyone. An internet where like-minded people can quietly spend time in their own spaces, gently inspiring one another.

Wanting to create a place like that, I create websites not as tools, but as works of art.

A place where "just being there is enough." I think the modern internet could use at least one place like that.

◆水煙釣堀 | Suien Fishing Pond◆ i made a 3d website set in the world of kureiji ollie, a vtuber who's come to spend a boring, rainy afternoon fishing at a nearby indoor fishing pond. this place actually existed in japan — somewhere i've been to myself. i tried to recreate that specific feeling: the damp, heavy humidity, the soft hum of fluorescent lights, and the quiet. it's meant to be an immersive space where you can just be, undisturbed. the site also has an experimental chat feature — my first time implementing something like this. i really wanted to create a small space for people to connect, so i decided to try. for now, you can only send pre-set messages designed for fans to interact with each other, but i'm hoping to implement free-form chat in future projects. you can find the link under "My Links" in my pinned post — come hang out whenever you'd like :D 🎵 highly recommend turning your sound on for the full experience.

After making my post yesterday, I opened my account the next day and was shocked to see so much activity waiting for me. It felt as if so many people had come to plant flowers in my blog and in my art, my heart feels so warm right now!

To everyone who liked my writing, and to those who reblogged, commented, and followed me — thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could express my gratitude to each person individually, but I’m still not familiar enough with Tumblr to know how to do that.

So I wrote this post hoping that my feelings will reach everyone who reacted to my previous post and to my art.

Thank you all so much. As one member of Tumblr, I hope I can help make this little world even a bit richer.

Knowing that a place this warm still exists on the internet — that alone has saved me.

I've only been on Tumblr for about a month, but it already feels like exactly where I belong. It may not be perfect, but I love that there's a culture here that values what you share over who you are. Every time I open Tumblr, I'm met with an endless flow of inspiring work created by people from all over the world. It reminds me of the internet in the 90s and 2000s — overflowing with people's passions and the things they love, all treated with genuine respect. I absolutely love that about this place. I'm Japanese, and I'm not sure how well this comes across in translation — but to Tumblr, to everyone who calls this place home, and to everyone who has reblogged my work and left such heartwarming tags: you are the best! Thank you, and I hope we can keep creating together.

Instead of her typical cyber vibe, I tried creating her in a warm, everyday setting. Like my previous projects, I built this 3D model using Three.js and made it into an interactive scene on my website.

Following up on my last post. Here are my models of Evil Neuro and a Japanese tram—it was my first time creating a background at the time.

A few months ago, I implemented these into a website using three.js. I'll be sharing the final result in my next post.
