The reason the “settling down” scene got my TD senses tingling so much is because Norman has been talking about Daryl’s love life like it’s something that’s coming. He’s also been finding ways to randomly work Beth/Bethyl into the conversation. (FFS, he brought it up during an interview for his movie).

Yet, Daryl is clearly not over Beth and they’re shoving it down our throats. The call back to “Keep singing” when Daryl tells Rick not to play music and now with the “settling down” scene. Daryl is still hurting and seemingly not dealing with her “death.” Plus there’s the fact that he’s still wearing Beth’s knife, and as Sparks pointed out, “You don’t get involved with another women when you’re still wearing another women’s knife.”

So, how can Norman be talking about a love life like its something coming soon if he’s still hung up on a character that is supposed to be dead? And why are we still seeing the aftermath of his grief a year later? If Beth was truly dead, he would have dealt with his feelings in 5B and moved on.

I’m really encouraged that this is all happening now. It feels like they are priming the audience for her return.

Why in the fuck did Beth not get mentioned when Glen is talking to Enid in the church? That was Maggie’s sister, but instead Tyreese and Dale get mentioned.

This means she’s alive right?

No it means she wasn’t a hero to Glenn. Not everything is about Beth. Christ. Can the man have a moment, can anyone without it having to be about Beth.

Because they were heroes to Glenn. I didn’t say she wasn’t one. She was. She helped Noah escape. She got killed making sure Noah didn’t have to stay at Grady. But this was a moment about Glenn and who were his heroes. It had nothing to do with Beth. Stop making everything about her.

Glenn and Beth rarely even interacted, if at all. But there you go again trying to make every thing about her because you can’t let go of your bethyl ship.

Never once in that conversation did they mention the word 'heroes', he said the people you love. Are you telling me that he loved everybody but Beth? Who also is one of the more recent ones to die?

And this wasn't about my 'Bethyl' ship. Yes, I ship them but not everything I mention about Beth is because I want her to be alive so she can be with Daryl.

I valued Beth as a character and they completely disregarded the fans who were completely invested in her. She never got a funeral, we never got closure and to this day, they very rarely mention her.

So, thank you for your interesting comments but you're wrong.
