Hey! A handful of labels didn't get printed for some reason; unfortunately my program is something of a dinosaur. I reprinted and shipped those out today! If you don't see a scan event by Monday, please shoot us an email and we'll get it sorted.

The only thing we're waiting on is the books to come to us! They're not done printing, but I'm working on finalizing shipping details with our supplier and will let you know as soon as they ship!

I missed the preorders but I hope I can get my hands on some of the extras, but if I do, do you think it's possible to receive it by the end of July with the current schedule?

Hey there!  That depends entirely on our printer.  I will say, for now, that it’s not super likely, especially if you’re international—we had some hiccups with the cover file formatting that have now been squared away, but printing and shipping will still take time

Okay, so I typed this up last night, but I just got off the phone with her and looks like she’s gonna expedite this for us, so it’s looking significantly more likely if you’re in the US!

Hey there!  Unfortunately, we didn’t reach the foil stretch goal; however, we’re only 18 sales away from reaching our enamel pin stretch goal!

I’m going to ask around to suppliers to see if we can get discounted foil for the amount we have anyway but I can’t make any promises.

Dedicated to the paladin we all know and love, Takashi Shirogane, PRISM is a charity fanzine focused on identity and acceptance.  PRISM strives to celebrate Shiro’s sexuality as well as the fandom’s love for him as a character.

Specs: One 5.25" x 8" zine, featuring the work of over 30 talented creators.

All physical orders will receive a free PDF copy as well!

I can’t remember if it’s been said anywhere, but is it safe to assume people will start getting their zines in June or July?

That’s certainly the hope!  We’ll let you know if there are any delays.

I’m also confused about the ships thing. There can’t simultaneously be no ships and also have references to past/present/future relationships. It’s not gen if there are relationships portrayed- it’s very confusing.

We had to be pretty delicate with this issue since a lot changed between the beginning of the zine and now. We decided that Adam is a canonical part of Shiro’s backstory and it was fine to keep that relationship in, but that we didn’t want works that focussed on how they got together. We also decided that ‘impossible’ relationships like teenage awakenings and celeb crushes were chill. Any of the classic VLD pairings were not allowed under any circumstances, so no shance or sheith or shallura or shatt etc.

The epilogue, being universally divisive, has been left out also.

If you really need details or you’re still worrying, I’m going to be more specific about current completed works below. SPOILERS ahead. When I’m not on mobile I will stick this under a read more.

SPOILERS

-unnamed, unspecified husband interacts with Shiro

-adolescent Shiro is starstruck by a male mentor figure

-mention of an unnamed male date

-past (OC) boyfriends discussed, along with past Adam relationship

-unnamed male Garrison crush mentioned

-teen Shiro has a vague crush on his brother’s friend (OC)

EDIT: Shiro's Monsters and Mana character flirts with several NPCs played by Coran and Kinkade, but not with Coran or Kinkade.

None of these result in relationships, most of them have little to no interaction ‘on screen’ as it were. The stories are mostly about Shiro’s own introspection or discussions with family.

I’m listing these because I want this zine to be a fun celebration that every queer Shiro fan can turn to without being confronted with a ship they might not personally have a taste for. It’s a neutral ground we can all meet on. It’s not the place to argue about the epilogue or Adam; that’s not what we’re here for.

Respectfully, I’m not going to answer any more questions on this topic. You have three options if you still want to buy something;

1. Have faith in our writers and get the zine

2. Don’t risk it and make a donation straight to Outreach yourself and bypass us

3. Go spend your hard earned money on a ship zine if the series left you disappointed and you’re needing something to scratch that itch

Do whatever is best for YOU. Honestly us mods just want you to have a good fandom experience, and for this zine to embrace that good feeling we all had after Shiro’s reveal. Have a good one Anon, this was not just a reply to you! We’ve had a lot of people questioning how this is being portrayed. This is a catch all reply to that.
