✨BIIIIIIG STRETCH✨

A lil bit of Hullabaloo and Fool’s Gold content, I had talked about drawing this idea with a friend the other night, and was able to pull through with said idea :)

Well, it’s been a while since I last posted anything, hasn’t it? To be honest, I’ve been struggling to rekindle my passion for art and have been caught in a cycle of self-doubt about whether to continue or not. I genuinely couldn’t find the motivation to draw or even muster the energy to attempt it until this very moment.

The reason I was able to draw SOMETHING was because of Minecraft. When my friends informed me that they were planning to restart the realm, I was genuinely excited. I love Minecraft, and it’s one of the few games that never fails to keep me engaged. As I continued playing, I began to miss drawing Herobrine and Archie. That’s when I started drawing again. I simply drew without any rush, without expectations, or the need to please others. It was just for me.

I believe the reason I tend to burn out quickly is because I constantly compare myself to those who can produce art much faster or maintain consistency. Unfortunately, I struggle to do either of these things consistently. As a slow artist, coupled with my extreme perfectionism, I find myself even slower.

So, I’ve come to the realization that I’m a slow artist, and that’s perfectly okay! As long as I enjoy the process and have fun with it, I can continue creating art at my own pace.

Celeste, my girl, is my original character that I had been planning to create for quite some time, but I never had the opportunity to introduce her until now. Celeste resides with Hero, another person he rescued when she was young. In return for his kindness, she diligently tends to his needs whenever he requires assistance. She holds him in high regard since the day he first rescued her, and she even goes out of her way to help him tend to his injuries if he is severely wounded or if his regenerative abilities are compromised.

Growing up around Herobrine, she’s developed independence and surprisingly strong abilities to fend for herself. While she may come across as cold when meeting new people, she gradually opens up once she trusts you. However, be cautious not to push her too hard after getting closer; she won’t hesitate to cut you as a warning if you test her boundaries.

I like to think Dyle and Dandy take turns helping Gourdy close his shop each night so he doesn’t have too much trouble; meaning, he gets more time to do what he likes as they help close.

Toon watching out for Ness even when he’s a lil down in the dumps while carelessly being outside in the rain. Toon doesn’t mind the rain, but can’t help worrying about his friend Ness who could possibly catch a cold.

Also wonder where Toon got the leaf umbrella? You could say Villager got it for him as a gift after Toon pointed it out about wanting to have one so badly.

So, I wanted to draw Master hand and Crazy hand humanized for funsies..

Ngl while I worked on this they low key started to grow on me, and now I plan to draw full body references of them later :)

I now like to believe they have human transformations they can use if necessary like for proper greetings or settling important matters with brawlers. (Or to just transform whenever they want)

Some Pokey sketches I did the past few days while tryna fight off art-block, I still am fighting art-block but it’s not as bad like before.

I’ve always wanted to do an AU with Pokey but I’m still uncertain on how to start it since things are still a bit all over the place. Hopefully I can figure out how to really introduce it one day from the start, but in the meantime just have snippets of it :D
