Just like how Shiryu is...okay, he's not exactly a simple man. But, according to Oda, he seems to be, when it comes to women.

Women shower? I observe.

Aiko is no different.

Man with milkers? I observe.

Okay, perhaps a bit different, she doesn't watch anyone shower. You could say she is a monogamic pervert. Until business gets serious, she chickens out then. Luckily, it takes a year and some, until business gets serious.

The best thing about it, is, that few actually notice. Very few. Both of them are too sneaky and have stares too menancing, than to come across like that. They even fooled each other.

When Shiryu stared at Aiko, while she was stretching, she thought: "Huh. He's probably still suspicious of me. Most likely still believes that I'm going to eat him."

Which is not true, because by then, he sees her as a woman first and a wendigo second.

When Aiko stared at Shiryu, while he was just existing, he thought: "....she still plans on eating us all."

Which is not true, because Aiko was just staring at his chest.

Also, fun fact, that's my actual thinking pose. I look like that, too, when observing someone.

A lot of my ocs do, actually.

Aiko, cause I want to talk about her rn, has her wisdom teeth. They started coming out when she was 18-19 years old.

A lot of people told her to get them removed, but Aiko didn't. She thought it was dumb, actually, due to all the useful stem cells in them.

Her teeth did get crooked for a while but eventually rearranged neatly. Except for her two front teeth, which are crooked ever since she was a primary school kid. Hasn't done anything to straighten them, cause they give her personality and do not hinder her in everyday life.

Hasn't been to the dentist in years either, because she takes good care of her teeth and trust issues in medical 'experts' ever since she found out about the money and paying system in the medical niche of economics.

Another one, Mariko (the 2,20 m tall one), also has her wisdom teeth, through the shoved the other teeth a bit outward. Her back teeth and molars are now tilted outwards. It reminds her of an oni.

Mariko (the ceo version), has no wisdom teeth. She got them pulled, not wanting to deal with even more physical pain. She keeps them though, close to her, for emergencies. Again, they have use. Especially to her, who runs a pharmacy company.

Aiko?

Nope. She does hold on to certain behaviours though, which bring her back to her childhood. She misses it, sometimes.

If it's the version which gets lobotomized, then this behaviour gets even stronger. I wouldn't call it regressing, far from it actually. She can snap out of it any time.

It's just...she sometimes thinks about how she may have forced herself to grow up too fast, despite loving and supporting parents.

It shows itself in quiet and melancholic ways, when she (for example in One Piece) walks up to Shiryu and jumps on him, clinging onto his clothes, until he gives in and carries her.

Or when he's napping somewhere (I headcanon that he naps often), making herself comfortable on his lap, and falling asleep too.

All while she looks like she was alive to witness the big bang.

It's a reflection of times she wished she had shown weakness in. And the desire to be hugged. She's got a problem with not wanting to be hugged out of a sudden, but on the other hand, isolates and starves herself from touch. It's...complicated. Especially when she feels someone standing behind her. She gets anxious then, which makes it even more surprising when she stops walking out of way, when Shiryu walks up behind her.

So, this behaviour is nostalgic, melancholic and full of regret.

Shiryu is on a similar wave length as her, and over time, this behaviour....it doesn't go away. It never will. But she stops beating herself up afterwards, when she is fully 'rational and logical' again. Stops being ashamed.

And stops hugging plushies at night. She isn't touch-starved by then anymore.

Aiko's room often smells like a certain perfume. Caramel macarons.

She loves subtle sweet smells.

But after she was forced to wander around, she has no room anymore.

And when she meets Shiryu, she does NOT get a room on her own on that ship. That's a privilege, actually. She stays in Shiryu's room during the day (he couldn't drive her out) and in the bird's nest at night. Or pacing around the ship, as she's nocturnal.

And she prefers when his room smells like him. Not only because his smell is DIVINE to her, but also because it is a sign of life and structure. Someone comes back to this room regularly. Someone does not feel scared enough to avoid her.

Aiko's a freeloader, so...a lot. But too much free time without a hobby gets to her and makes her irritated and distressed.

Which is why she started picking out those of the crew who cannot read and started teaching them how to read, write and calculate.

Aiko just uses Shiryu's bed and his is like the literal basics. One blanket, one pillow. She did, additionally, have a little crocodile plushy to hug, but eventually, after they started trusting each other (or more like, Shiryu finally started trusting her enough) it got replaced by Shiryu himself. The man. The legend. His arm alone is more than enough of a pillow for her. Or she squeezes her face in between his arm and torso. Sometimes that ends in her being completely buried, but luckily, her bones are strong.

Not as good as amaretto. It reminds her of her dad though, and if Shiryu happens to drink some vodka, she watches him very closely. Not because her father was abusive, but because she was always worried about him getting too drunk and eventually...falling down and not standing up.

She herself does not drink. She was taught that it made women look old really fast. And that turns out to be true for many, which she had met.

Also, history of addiction within her close bloodline. She doesn't mess around with that

Mariko (2,20 m version), for example, loves vodka. Especially Eristoff.

And Mishka, the russian woman herself, drinks it to forget. Perhaps to finally stop waking up.

Aiko originally has had brown hair. But she regularly dies it a specific shade of red, because it reminds her of her mother. And she wants to be like her, even as an adult. She always got giddy when someone compared her to her mom.

ANYWAYS- SO, ALLOW ME TO RANT! It's not completely thought through, just a draft for now.

Aiko is my oc. She has a lot of faces, really. And it depends which version I am using, but if I use the normal original version, then:

She's a parent to an adopted kid. Personally, she's 32. The adopted kid is sixteen. She's had her for six years already and is trying her best to support her. As Aiko is a character in the One Piece universe, they naturally have devil fruits. She's had an unfortunate time and ate one. Long story short, she became nocturnal.

And in the high school au, she's nocturnal too and has problems with nutrition deficiency. Like, she has to eat a LOT, in order to process enough nutrients, in order to not develop any illnesses. She doesn't take a lot of pills, due to not wanting to make her liver work over time to break them down. Why is she nocturnal tho? Well, sun allergy. And reaply, just genetics.

Anyways, the girl is kind of supposed to represent me, ehe and she is a little troublemaker, but not enough to land in the boarding school called...Impel Down. (Yeah, high school Au of One Piece)

Aiko herself, works at night or late noon. Goes to the gym very early, before falling asleep for the day. And usually, when she's there, there's also this other guy, Shiryu, and they sometimes greet each other.

Shiryu, however, looses his job (just like in canon) because he regularly bullied the teens (in canon he killed the prisoners for funsies). But unlike in canon, he doesn't go on dwath row, he just becomes a jobless loser.

That way, he has to stop going to the gym, cause obviously...he can't afford it.

Aiko eventually notices his absence. Doesn't do a lot, nothing actually.

The one who notices that he lost his job, is the girl. She's friends with a few of the real troublemakers in the boarding school. She herself doesn't go to the boarding school, she got to know them through the internet.

How he and Aiko meet, idk yet, but she eventually gets him a job as security somewhere (saying that his..uh...physical aggression...can be of advantage, so long as he is not put on a team). Which is how he became one of the securities in a very shady business. But hey, job is job. I think I'm gonna make the very shady business a company and the company will belong to Blackbeard. She does not give him any more than that, not a sleeping place either, wtf? She and her kid are both female and also, he's a TANK and his grin is kinda dirty ngl... EITHER WAY-

that doesn't end there, as Aiko gets somewhat entangled in their business. She and Shiryu meet again. Somehow forced to interact.

More interaction is forced.

They both learn to trust each other through the course of three seasons. The kid documents and comments on everything.

It does not end with marriage. They're not married. Worse.

They will have a relationship so emotionally intimate and physically casual intimate that it is difficult to pin down if they're both 'just' on the same wave length or something romantic is going on between them. (I love it when romance only comes after getting to know each other. Like, first emotional and physical intimacy without sexual intent. That's the closest form of your souls intertwining, imo. THEN, romance. I love it weird. Like, both staring at each other with an unamused face, people around them thinking they're short from a disagreement, and it's actually just them being so lost in each other's eyes that they forgot to turn off their resting bitch faces.)

(PHM was kind of an inspiration for that. The relationship between Grace and Stratt. Admittedly, I never watched or read it, but my entire feed is full of it, and I really really love their dynamic. And the asexual representation of him. I think it really fits him.)

And the girl will not be sure if she's gonna get a dad, too (catch them all~) or if they'll fuse some day. She annoys him to a great degree, but much to everyone in his vicinity's surprise, he's patient with her. Perhaps because she isn't bratty about it. Or because Aiko would slime him out. It is....an open theory.

...a male, packing out its unconventional methods, to ensure its survival with one of humanity's greatest natural enemies: The Wendigo

As you can see, the wendigo is confused by the show of a human presenting itself in a vulnerable position. It seems to be considering it to be poisonous and is hesistant to approach it.

(What actually happened: In a different timeline, where Aiko did not go through lobotomy and trains her devil fruit powers, Shiryu decides to bring her onto his side, to ensure that she does not turn on him and eat him while he's asleep or wounded. His ways are....extreme, to Aiko.)

Fun fact! Did you know, that humans actually can't tell when someone is flirting? Most at least. As being friendly can be seen as both platonic or romantic.

Aiko is confused whether or not the dead bodies he leaves her, or the openly vulnerable positions he sometimes takes, are to test her, to befriend her or to flirt with her. And at this point, she is too lazy to ask. Pretty sure that Shiryu doesn't know either.

The thing is...I have one (1) OC, and I put them through millions of AUs, with the same ship or different ones over and over again.

I have three AUs for them now.

Five actually.

Canon inspired. High school Au, but Shiryu is part of the security for a boarding school for some of the worst kids ever. The school is called Impel Down and Shiryu went apeshit on the teens. Now he's without a job for the time being. Fnaf Au Android Au Soulmate Au

I personally think he wouldn't go as far as to rape an actual woman. Not because of moral stuff, but because he simply doesn't want to? Need to? idk, he seems like the type of enjoying killing people. Not rape.

Or else, he'd been even MORE similar to a certain fascist group. Look, he was designed with intention and the resemblance to the SS was NOT accidental, I'm telling you.

Funnily enough, many series have a Dimitrescu-coded woman or a suspiciously-close-to-nazi-looking-character. Or both.
