so annoying that in 2026 mono queer people will still try to justify hating polyamorous people on poly-positive posts by randomly bringing up how badly they were abused and traumatized by a poly ex. which is genuinely awful so not to sound callous but when i’m like ‘stop hating on poly people for no reason’ and ten people are like ‘uh my poly ex abused me!’ i’m like okay. good point. i forgot that monogamous relationships are inherently and historically safe and free of abuse. can you imagine if domestic abuse happened in monogamous relationships? that would be so scary…
yup! just a couple of guys who get high off poison for completely different reasons
- while he does have a new uniform now, ingo still feels comfort in wearing the uniform he wore in hisui that has since been patched up and restored
- ingo brought back a handful of kits from lady sneasler’s latest batch with him to the future; corbeau has gotten scratched/poisoned by them more than a couple times <- by choice <- he is ecstatic
First of all, the first panel of page 2 is inspired somewhat by this amazing post right -> here
This is a snippet from a personal AU of mine, set around a year or two after the happening of Legends Arceus.
Akari/the MC (Akari for me, in this case) figured out a way to get Arceus to give them back their memories and help them get back to their realities.
They left first, as they were here for only a couple of years, but Ingo? Oh, in my AU, Ingo has been here for almost two decades. He'd seen Irida grow up, he'd helped babysit Lady Sneasler's kits year after year after year. He was at war with his old-new memories for a few months after Akari went home at least. He had to choose between one home and another, and he couldn't bring himself to look the Pearl Clan, Galaxy Expedition, or anyone else he knew in the eye about it.
And so, he decided he had to build the courage to just rip the band-aid off and disappear, just as Akari did.
The whole idea for this comic was inspired by an older Polish Song that my dad showed me when I was younger, called "Kiedy góral umiera" ("When a Highlander dies", also might be refering to the Górale ethnic group from the West Carpathians! Link to the song here). It's a very solemn song about a góral /highlander going to die alone in the mountains, it helped me relieve a lot of emotions when I was going through tough things in life.
I do think that if Warden Ingo (specifically) were at the end of his life, it'd be very in character for him to just go somewhere in the mountains, lay down and let time do it's thing. It's a bit of a morbid thought I know lmao
He's alive and well though! (Or will be, for a few more years anyhow) and got back home to Unova safely, albeit with still a muddled set of memories.
Also, have a silly Lady Sneasler sketch as a treat
