Dennor week, day 5: fairytale
Denmark had more energy than in small village, and could be twice as loud if he wanted. Norway usually loved the energy the Dane spread around, but sometimes it was too much. Sometimes Denmark did not realize it was too much.
“Dan”, Norway sighed once he had suffered enough with being unable to focus with his personal energy radiator going over the edge right next to me, “let me tell you a fairytale.”
“Okay!” Denmark said and sat down.
“Once upon a time”, Norway started his new fairytale, “there was a Dane.”
“Oh…”, Denmark said, “is that me?”
“It could be”, the Norwegian replied, “focus for a moment now. I am telling this story only once.” Denmark nodded, taking care to not disturb for once.
“So once upon a time”, Norway continued, “there was a Dane, who was very loved and sweet, but also rather annoying sometimes. Once he was too annoying and did not calm down despite of the many times of being told to do so. At the end, his partner got very much annoyed and even if he still loved the Dane much, he couldn’t take it anymore right then. The Dane was sent outside to sleep in forest for the night all alone. He got pneumonia and was sick for a long time, so he got no hugs, no cuddles, and no kisses. If he just stopped bothering his partner when told so, he would have been much happier. The end. That’s it.” Denmark blinked few times, taking in the whole story before he spoke up.
“Uh so”, he said, “you wanna have some peace?”
“Okay… Cool. I am gonna go”, the Dane said, “love you!”
“Love you”, Norway replied, happy to finally have the moment of quiet and piece to finish his work.
