Levi watched her with a serious expression. Petra was still with them and he knew that. It just hurt to think that physically, she couldn’t be by his side anymore. Or any of his squad for that matter. Levi raised his fist to his chest as well.

"Help you?" He cocked his head in anticipation. He could only imagine what she was going to ask him to do. "What exactly do you want to try." He had a skeptical expression but was going to let her speak before he turned her down this time.

"Weellllllll the fact that you haven't said no shows you're willing to listen, anyway, next mission we go outside the walls could you help me catch a titan? Please? I want to see some things." Hanji's tongue danced around her mouth with anticipation for Levi's answer.

Hanji wanted to test her theory that if a titan loses a limb does its strength return or does it weaken after consecutive amputations and regrowing, "You could even name it if you want?"

  Levi took a handkerchief out of his pocket, handing it to Hanji. He missed Petra too, and the loss of her had been really hard on him. The loss of everyone in his squad was something he thought about alot, and had bottled up all of his emotions. And he wasn’t about to show any emotion now.

He chuckled at the thought. “I guess you could say that. I didn’t have very deep feelings for her.” It was true, Levi had a crush on Petra for a while, but he loved her most as a companion. “I never wanted a relationship with her. I just liked having her around.” He looked down, trying not to show any emotion.

Hanji took the handkerchief and just held it in her hand, "Sorry to bring this all up, and all but thanks that you bore with it," Hanji's eye brows wrinkled up, "But we know that she's with us and her wings of freedom have become our wings too," Hanji banged her chest with a fist, "And she's always here with us in spirit as are the others that have passed."

"Buuut anyway," Hanji felt like it was time to change the mood, "Can you help me with some stuff please?" Hanji winked and held her hands together like a begging child, "I wanna try some things..."

Sorry I have been absent, I've been a sick Hanjimun and I also have assignments and stuff starting to build up.

"I know Moblit worries about you. He’s very devoted to you. He just had no way to stop you when you go on a rampage."

Levi bit his lip at the mention of his friend. He could still see her face so clearly in his mind. And he couldn’t help but feel that it was his fault she wasn’t there anymore, and his fault Hanji couldn’t see her and hold her. “I’m sorry, Hanji.” He mumbled.

He smiled softly when Hanji told him her memory of that night. “You know, she’ll always be with you. And all of us.” Levi felt that when people said things like that it was stupid, but when it was actually coming out of his mouth he really meant it. He felt like Petra was right there with both of them.

Hanji just looked down and remembered thoughts of Petra and herself doing things together, "I wish that i could have done more with her..." Hanji removed her glasses and gave them a wipe, "I wonder what would happen if we actually succeeded with that mission."

Hanji's thoughts drifted off to imagining possible outcomes to things that would have happened if they were to have gone the way that they would have wanted, "I reckon the two of you would have had something going on there," she said making the sub-conscience assumption that Levi knew what she was on about.

"Reality catches up with all of us Hanji,"

"And I’m not sure. Someone who would be able to make sure you take care of yourself. Moblit just goes along with whatever you want him to do…"

"He worries about me too, I think I scare the poor guy too much sometimes in my humble and honest opinion."

"And just remember that I am in charge of you which also means that I am in charge of Moblit. Maybe I should move him to another division and replace him with someone who can ‘stop you’?"

"I'm pretty much invincible, normally I should have  died ages ago but somehow I am still alive, WHO WOULD STOP ME IF YOU SWITCHED MOBO?"

"You’re fine. Don’t worry about it." Levi said, in his normal serious tone. He was reassuring her because he didn’t want her to think that any of his relationships got in the way of their friendship. There was nothing that could change that.

Levi’s eyes softened, a look of concern covering his face. “Yes, you can.” Levi thought about making a joke such as Hanji always told him things he didn’t want to hear anyway, but it didn’t seem like the appropriate time. “You won’t make me uncomfortable.”

Hanji took a deep breath, "Before the expedition where your squad was wiped, I had a bit of a crush on Petra...There I said it and now that's a weight off my shoulders." Hanji bit her left lower lip, she just wanted to get that weight off  her mind which had been laying stagnant there for a long time.

Hanji didn't drag it out to build confidence, she already felt confident with Levi, "Thanks for listening to that I guess, it's just that after she died I remember that I saw her and so I hugged her tightly, only the next morning did Moblit tell me it was my pillow..." Hanji's voice sounded hollow in the sense of the feeling it conveyed.
