CARAT WRITERS CLUB’S 2022 SECRET SANTA EVENT

Enjoy the holidays with CWC by participating in our Secret Santa event! During this event, you will be exchanging messages and possibly drabbles with another CWC member! You must have anon on in order to participate in the event. The messaging period will begin on December 5th and blogs must reveal themselves between December 25th-31st!

THIS EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO MEMBERS OF CARAT WRITERS CLUB

There will be two separate groups for this event to ensure that everyone can participate, even if they don’t have the time to create work for their assigned blogs.

GROUP ONE: MESSAGES ONLY

Anonymous messages will be exchanged throughout the month of December

These messages can be about anything! Please make sure to be respectful and friendly always (this goes both ways!)

Try to be active! Send at least two-three messages a week.

Reveal yourself between the 25th-31st!

GROUP TWO: DRABBLES

Write a drabble for your Secret Santa! (NOTE: We consider drabbles to be anything under 2,000 words. While you do not have to write a drabble, we suggest you stick to this word count so no one feels pressured to write a lot at such a short notice.)

Those who want a drabble must also write a drabble for a recipient so that it is fair and we have enough participants.

A brief summary of your recipient’s interests (biases, tropes, etc) will be given to you. We recommend you use this template to help your writing and to make it personalized for your participant, and feel free to talk to them to add more!

Tag your creations with both #caratwritersclub and #cwcss2022

We will reblog all creations made for the event

Send an anonymous message to your assigned blog at least once a week to get to know each other

Reveal yourself by mentioning your assigned blog gift between the 25th-31st!
