Clapping When the Plane Lands| A Bill Denbrough Imagine
Imagine that Bill is the type of guy who would absolutely clap when the plane lands.
Say the Losers go on some kind of trip together, whether it be all of them or just a few. Either way, Bill is brought along much to the lying chagrin of the others and as soon as that plane lands it's over. Bill is clapping, and is the only one clapping, making an absolute fool of himself.
"I'm just appreciating what the-what the pilots are doing." He claims, as if it's something that needs to be celebrated. It'd be like congratulating a secretary for making a phone call.
"The pilots were just doing their jobs."
"Dude just go to sleep next time."

--- The plane had been making its descent for some time now, and was going to come to a slow at any point. Overall, the flight and process before it had gone smoothly. Save for Eddie's ramblings about how gross airports were, and Richie nearly getting called back at security because of some mini booze bottles he almost got caught having.
"It worked well before! I just don't see the problem." Richie exclaimed before they boarded, leaving just how many times he had snuck contraband onto a flight to the imagination.
The sun was rising when they took off, having to get up at 4 in the morning really, really takes it out of you, only to have the flight at around 7 or 8. It must've been midday or so by now, and at last the flight was almost over. Richie had been sleeping for almost the whole duration, only being woken up when he was asked something or if some turbulence hit. Eddie had taken to his phone near the end after trying and failing to sleep as well, something about airplanes and the enclosed air just got under his skin. He was antsy to get off, and it was obvious in the way he moved and how his expression contorted.
Bev and Ben busied themselves with this book they bought back at the airport, some cheesy, self-published, and overall mediocre romance novel you'd expect suburban mothers to read on the beach. Shockingly enough, Bill had taken his laptop on the flight, not that much of anything would be done with it. Maybe he would luck out and actually get an idea worth fleshing out, God willing.
The plane started slowing down, and was reaching a complete stop when a few other passengers started popping their heads up, including Bill at the ding. As soon as they were able to, Eddie roused Richie and reached for their carry-on luggage, when clapping was heard. Clapping. Seriously, someone was clapping on this God damned flight.
"Who the fuck is that?" Came Richie's voice, groggy, a little hoarse, but full of amusement at the prospect of someone clapping when the plane landed. He propped himself up, searching for the culprit in the sea of passengers.
Bill fucking Denbrough. Bill, one of his best friends of however long, was clapping because the plane landed safely. Richie nearly lost his shit, snickering and failing to hold it together as they left for baggage claim.
...
Richie was, of course, the first to confront Bill about this once the rest of their luggage was retrieved. A shit-eating grin was plastered onto the comedian's mug. "Were you clapping on the plane?"
Bill narrowed his eyes, quirking one of his eyebrows. "I-I of course I-of course I did."
"That was you?" Bev asked, "Bill, you don't have to do that." A smirk was coming up on her lips, amusement bright in her eyes.
Richie could hardly hold back a snort, he was having serious trouble keeping a straight face. This was something Richie had only heard of, he had no idea it was something people actually did. "Yeah--" Almost lost it again, "Yeah dude you really don't have to do that. It-It makes you look like a dumbass."
The flustered expression on his friend's face was absolutely priceless. "I-It-It's po-it's polite! I-I think that the-they would appreciate th-th-the-they would appreciate it!"
"Bill, buddy, they're just doing their job." Ben placed a gentle hand on his friend's shoulder.
"At least sleep on the plane instead next time, man." Richie's grin was still wide and full of laughter. "Let's get outta here and get something to eat."
