Hello _____,
I am emailing you regarding my "absent" on 8/30/16. I wanted to inform you that I was there on time, no I was even early for class. After patiently waiting for 15 minutes, with only one student who received news that you were "on your way" and for her to start a sign in sheet (which I believe to be very unprofessional when you have a classroom full of students waiting, with no notification of your whereabouts if I may add.) Yes ,I signed because I was in class on time and ready to go, but where were you? Yes, I also left because I thought it was rude and unprofessional to keep an entire class waiting with no formal news notifying students of your tardiness. I am in my last semester for my undergraduates and with little time to spare, I am not going to wait aimlessly wondering whether or not you will even show up to class. Just as this pass Friday, the first week of school, you canceled class with only 5 minutes till class session was due to start, again a key example of being unprofessional. Time is precious and with only 15 (now) weeks to finish my capstone and finish this semester, I don't have time to waste.
