He groans as a simple response and just shakes his head, drinking the water to cool himself off (and calm himself down simultaneously).
‘It’s not his fault’, he tells himself, ‘he is partially right…’
But it’s not quite the intention. Cain always keeps reminding himself of boundaries and when he’s crossed the line. However, he is sure he hasn’t crossed any line, hasn’t he?Maybe he didn’t even notice…
「 “Just…let me know if I do something that is out of line okay? Ugh…I should be the one apologising, Noah.”」
It’s his fault, he shouldn’t have said something like that.
“Y-you’re fine really. I-I just I don’t n-normally talk to people-n-no I talk to them b-but I d-don’t h-have co-conversations... I-I don’t r-really know what to say a-and I end up saying things that are wrong.” He does his best to tell Cain what he meant but he felt his face flushing deeply with embarrassment as he fumbles with his words.
“Y-you hav-haven’t crossed any line C-cain.”
