Bag slung on one shoulder and a pair of baseball gloves held tightly on the other hand, Sasayan made his way towards their classroom in the second floor when confronted by someone slouched at one of the steps. The book in her hand and the fact that her attention didn’t seemed to have snapped away from it even after a few seconds of his arrival instantly registered the person as Mizutani.
“Mizutani-san? I’m good, but… why are you reading here instead of in the library?”
The bookworm sighed, folding the tip of the book's page to mark her place before closing it and setting it on her lap, looking up at him. "There's too many people in the library today - and not the kind that are actually studying for anything, either." The brunette stood up, taking the book from her lap and pulling up her bag before taking a small step to the side. "Sorry if I was blocking your way." She paused, "Or did you need something?"
“Do something?” He asked, his eyes wide as a multitude of thoughts ran through his head. He briefly looked down, his mind drawing up blanks before he sighed.
“Sure! …But I’m not so sure what to do.” He admitted, looking forwards at the bushes. A thought struck him, one he thought she might appreciate. “Is there anything you want to go over from classes?” He asked, smiling just a little as he turned to look over at her.
He figured she wouldn’t want to do much of anything fun for the day considering they had a couple tests, so he picked studying. He already knew all of the material like the back of his hand due to certain circumstances, so he’d give her help if she needed it.
“Though if you didn’t want to do that… Uh…” He trailed off, thinking once more for something to occupy their time.
He know new that he wasn’t to come to school so early. It wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy her company- in fact he loved it as much as he loved her, but he didn’t think that so early in the morning was such a good time. His thought process was all but shot, and he let out a light yawn.
“We could just walk around if you don’t want to study?” The raven asked shifting as me made to stand up. He paused however when Nagoya shifted, the rooster opening an eye and standing up.
He watched the rooster closely, starting to laugh a bit when he just walked in a circle a couple times before settling down again, his eyes closed. “Silly Nagoya…” He mumbled softly.
Shizuku paused.
The thought of him helping her with any problem she had for any class made her feel.. Uncomfortable. Not that she didn't appreciate his offer, but it was more of the fact that she still couldn't believe that if he actually tried hard enough, he could surpass her. "No." The brunette stated all too quickly and a little harsher than she meant to, hoping he wouldn't take it as an aggressive response. "I mean, I'm fine. I don't need any help, but thanks." She sighed.
Soon following him in suit in standing up, she pulled her school bag along with her and absentmindedly ran her fingers through one of her low pigtails, pulling the thin, copper locks of hair over her shoulder which had been blown back by the wind. "Walking doesn't sound bad - but every one else is going to arrive soon. It's going to get crowded, like usual.." Shizuku murmured, pausing in her spot when the sleeping chicken in the coop began to stir from it's sleep due to their noisy movement. When Nagoya stood and began to walk in a circle, it's movements tired, she rolled her eyes and turned away as it sat back down, looking just as comfortable as ever. His chicken was just like him - strange. Strange, but cute.
"I haven't seen you lately," The bookworm commented shortly after their walk began, allowing them to wade in the joy of silence before finally speaking up, reluctantly breaking that peaceful silence. For a few moments after, all that could be heard was the sound of the harsh, cold wind howling and the few trees that've remained rustling, a few small, lucky stray orange leaves darting by them before she finally looked at him, her whole body resisting the strong urge to freeze when she saw him staring back. "..." She exhaled quickly, darting dark brown eyes pulling away from deep obsidian hues. "I was wondering how you've been."

Haru looked up, noticing someone was near and turned to face them, upon seeing it was Shizuku, his unconscious glare immediately melted as a smile overtook his face. “Shizuku-chan! Goodmorning!” He chimed, beaming at her.
His eyes quickly roved over her, taking notice that she was wearing the uniform like every other day, and that her hair was in her regular twin tails. “Is it really that early?” He asked, feigning ignorance as he rubbed the back of his neck.
“I didn’t realize!” He declared, watching as he sat down next to her. “I know, I know. I’m usually pretty late- I guess I set my alarm clock to the wrong time!” The raven stated, dismissing the thoughts in his head that told him that he never used his alarm clock.
He looked back over to Nagoya, who was at his opposite side, looking inside of the coop once more. “Ahhh. I came here this morning, and he was sleeping. I decided not to wake him up.” He said, idly pulling at the edge of the sleeves on his long-sleeved shirt. “So what are you doing here, since it’s so early?” He asked, tilting his head a bit.
'He's always so bubbly,' Shizuku thought to herself, the sound of his deep voice making her feel a little more relaxed. Her face turned red, however, when she saw him do a quick take of her, and she frowned, letting out a soft huff. Soon, her eyes quickly darted up and down his own body, taking in his look out of a small game of revenge in her head, - it was the usual, the school uniform and messy hair, but she still thought he looked rather cute in it -, only to regret it, immediately looking back down to let out a shaky, nervous sigh. 'He's too cute.'
She paused as he spoke, then glared at him. "You never use an alarm clock," She commented coldly, ignoring a sudden wave of heat that washed over her cheeks, causing them to turn red. "Otherwise, I'm pretty sure you'd be here just a little after I arrive.." She trailed off, letting out a sigh as she realized that even if he had one he'd still be late. That is just how he is - or, at least, that's what she thinks.
"That's a good idea," The brunette murmured, looking back towards Nagoya. The chicken always seemed so energetic, and it was rare, for her, to see him sleeping. Even now, it looked like he was just beginning to stir, and she felt a small pang of guilt (had she disturbed them?), to which she quickly dismissed.
Shizuku paused, lacing her fingers together over her lap and leaned back just a bit. "I'm always here early," She said. "It gives me more time to go over things I might've missed during class.. Or a little more time to study for a quiz or test. Not to mention, it's a little relaxing - there's nobody around to bother me." She sighed, glancing towards a clock hanging on the outside of the school's wall.
They still had quite a bit of time before school was to start. The realization that they were alone dawned on her, and she couldn't help but blush - there was no reason for her to blush. She shouldn't be blushing. It's just Haru. It's not like she's sitting next to some guy who is absolutely handsome, and cute, and bubbly yet annoying in a fun way, nor was it any guy who loved her..
She facepalmed. Who was she kidding? She had no idea what to say. "..Do you want to do something? Together? We have some spare time to kill.." Her voice was quiet, hesitant to ask and almost seemingly afraid.
sasaharas started following you
Shizuku was sitting on one of the steps of the staircase that lead up to the second story of the school building, her nose buried in a book as she ignored most of the students passing by. Her attention, however, was pulled when someone stepped in front of her, blocking her light and causing her to look up. "Oh," She started, blinking twice at the sight of the brunette in front of her, "hey, Sasayan. What's up?"
There’s so much I still need to talk about..
Haru sat by the medium sized coop he and his friends had built for Nagoya, the rooster inside actually sleeping for once. It was fairly early in the morning, no one outside quite yet.
It was early due to the fact that Haru couldn’t sleep the night previous, having slept too much during the day. He had brought Nagoya home with him for the summer, unable to leave him at the school campus to be alone.
The raven covered his mouth as he yawned, his eyes closing a bit before blinking open again. The sun was rising, and with it people were slowly appearing- a new day having begun.
The brunette quietly trudged through the halls of the school, reaching up a hand to rub her eye, soon using the same hand to stifle a tired yawn. It was a bit too early in the morning for her likes - but she usually arrived early anyways. That way she had enough time to check her notes and possibly study just a bit more before the clusters of boisterous students arrived and class started.
As she reached the open walkway that led from one building of the school to another, the sight of a certain raven as she looked up made her pause in her steps and stare. '...Haru?' She looked confused, though if only for a second. 'What's he doing here? It's too early for him to be here.' A sigh escaped her and she began to walk towards him, her heart skipping a beat the moment he turned his head and acknowledged her.
"Good morning." She said after she approached him, staring down at him. Her mind acknowledged quickly that was the only time she's ever be able to look down at him, rather than up. Why was she taking mental notes of that? She shook her head. "What are you doing here this early?" Shizuku asked, taking a spot next to him and sitting down, sitting her bag beside her and looking towards her legs. If she looked right at him, she'd get that stupid butterfly feeling in her stomach again and end up blushing.
"You usually only get here a few minutes before the bell rings." She glanced towards Nagoya. "And I see your chicken's finally sleeping."
